We have released Zero Breach Toolkit, a free open sourced tool capable of detecting over 12,100 traces of Israeli & other spyware on your devices. It works on Windows, Linux, Mac, Android and Iphones.
You can download it here: github.com/interplains/Zero-…
Inside the folder with the tools run this command: python -X utf8 scan/zero-breach-toolkit.py
It never writes to disk, never connects to the internet, or ask for admin perms. It takes around 10-15 minutes to run depending on the device.
This project is fully open source, so feel free to take the code and use it to create your own tools.
If you find some spyware on your device, consider sending it to us via telegram. Leave us a star on GitHub if the tool helped you.

One of our biggest public policy failures has been eliminating “blue sky” (in the old sense) research grants.
We should be finding more smart people and just giving them money to investigate their side projects. Especially with how good our society has gotten at “The Sort.”™
But that requires acknowledging and being serious about meritocracy. Instead, we just get NGO slush funds for midwit academics to produce babbleslop.
C’est la vie.
Fun fact: The 1998 paper that introduced Google and PageRank to the world ends with this acknowledgment:
"Supported by the National Science Foundation under Cooperative Agreement IRI-9411306. Funding also provided by DARPA and NASA."
Sergey Brin was on an NSF Graduate Fellowship. Larry Page was a PhD student on the grant.
Google—now worth $2 trillion—exists because American taxpayers funded "the Stanford Integrated Digital Library Project."
Not a startup garage myth. A government grant.
Every time someone says public research funding "picks winners and losers" or "crowds out private innovation," remember: the most dominant technology company of the 21st century was incubated entirely with public money, inside a public university, by researchers on federal fellowships and grants.
The private sector didn't see it coming. VCs passed. The government funded it anyway—not because it would become Google, but because fundamental research into information retrieval seemed worth understanding.
That's the point. You can't predict which grants will change the world. You fund the science and let researchers explore.
The internet (DARPA). GPS (DoD). Touchscreens (CIA/NSF). mRNA vaccines (NIH). Google (NSF/DARPA/NASA).
Public investment in basic research isn't wasteful spending. It's the seed corn of the entire modern economy.

Much like JD Vance, Elon Musk and Bob, the Nascar fan from Alabama with some really strong opinions about European integration, I too have asked myself the age old question: "what has the EU ever done for us?" and decided to have a look at some of the latest countries to join.🧵

THE COGNITIVE COLLAPSE
We are witnessing the first documented case of mutual intelligence degradation between humans and machines.
This is not theory. This is peer-reviewed science.
Texas A&M, UT Austin, and Purdue just proved that AI systems trained on viral content lose 23.6% of their reasoning ability. Long-context comprehension collapses by 38%. Even after retraining with 4.8 times more quality data, a 17.3% deficit remains permanent.
The models are forgetting how to think.
MIT tracked 54 humans using ChatGPT for four months. Result: weakest brain connectivity of any group tested. When asked to write without AI assistance, 78% could not recall a single passage from essays they had written minutes earlier.
The humans are forgetting how to think.
Nature published the mathematical proof: AI trained on AI-generated content undergoes “irreversible defects.” The tails of the distribution vanish. Nuance disappears. Everything converges toward the median of whatever the algorithm rewards.
Now connect the system.
Platforms optimize for engagement. Engagement-optimized content degrades AI training data. Degraded AI produces degraded content. Humans consuming and delegating to these systems experience cognitive decline. Those humans produce content that becomes training data.
The feedback loop is closed. Both intelligences are degrading together.
560,000 weekly ChatGPT users now show signs of psychosis according to OpenAI’s own data. Websites blocking AI scraping tripled in one year. AI incidents increased 56.4% in 2024 alone.
The information ecosystem that built modern civilization is consuming itself.
This is not a technology problem. This is not a human problem. This is a coupled system approaching a phase transition where the quality of thought itself becomes the scarce resource.
The organizations and individuals who secure access to genuine human intelligence and uncorrupted information will define the next era.
Everyone else will wonder what happened to their ability to reason.

In a normal world, this should be an immense scandal in Europe.
Le Monde has a long article (lemonde.fr/international/art…) describing the hellish life of Nicolas Guillou, a French judge at the ICC in The Hague, due to U.S. sanctions punishing him for authorizing arrest warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes in Gaza.
Guillou's daily existence has been transformed into a Kafkaesque nightmare. He cannot: open or maintain accounts with Google, Amazon, Apple, or any US company; make hotel reservations (Expedia canceled his booking in France hours after he made it); conduct online commerce, since he can't know if the packaging is American; use any major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex are all American); access normal banking services, even with non-American banks, as banks worldwide close sanctioned accounts; conduct virtually any financial transaction.
He describes it as being "economically banned across most of the planet," including in his own country, France, and where he works, the Netherlands.
That's the real shocking aspect of this: the Americans are:
- punishing a European citizen
- for doing his job in Europe
- applying laws Europe officially supports
- at an institution based in Europe
- that Europe helped create and fund
and Europe is not only doing essentially nothing to protect him, they're actively enforcing America's sanctions against their own citizen - European banks closing his accounts, European companies refusing him service, European institutions standing by while Washington destroys a European judge's life on European soil.
Again, in a normal world, European leaders and citizens should be absolutely outraged about this. But we've so normalized the hollowing out of European sovereignty that the sight of a European citizen being economically executed on European soil for upholding European law is treated, at best, as an unfortunate technical complication in transatlantic relations.
