Usually, when GoI approves metro rail projects, there is a release from PIB. There isn't one, so we can assume it did not happen, IG. There seems to be a cabinet meet tomorrow, can only hope this is part of the agenda and they approve 🫰
🚨Has the Centre Approved Hyderabad Metro Phase 2? No Official Confirmation Yet!
According to reports in some local media, the Centre has cleared a ₹24,269 crore plan covering 76 km across 5 metro corridors, with completion targeted for 2029.
However, there appears to be no confirmation from other credible sources or official announcements from BJP ministers yet.
We need to wait for official confirmation before treating this as confirmed news.

I am proud to share that the National Statistics Office’s (NSO) all-India Time Use Survey shows a remarkable increase in Telangana women using the free RTC bus ride scheme. Women are fully backing this scheme and its implementation has become a benchmark for the entire country.
Started within 48 hours of our government taking office, the #Mahalakshmi scheme has opened doors to education, work and dignity. Up to 37 lakh women are using TGSRTC on a daily basis to reach their schools, colleges and places of employment.
I am proud of our sisters, and grateful to every @TGSRTCHQ TGSRTC employee that makes it happen.
I congratulate @Ponnam_INC Ponnam Prabhakar garu for his capable leadership of the Transport department and implementation of Malakshmi scheme.

🚍 Built on the old Uppal Bus Depot site, the terminal will provide modern infrastructure and essential passenger facilities, making public transport more convenient and comfortable.
⏳ Target: Complete construction within 100 days!

.@usefaff filed on Sahaaya portal -> spoke to AEE ward engineer -> spoke to BWSSB engineer -> filed RTI to understand the delay reason (my first ever yay)
AND it was a v beautiful morning just 5 days later when i saw they ACTUALLY FIXED it (also no patchwork!).
