Creo q voy a crear un hilo de hilos con cosas que he ido guardando en destacados a lo largo de mis años en Twitter ahí va el primero Hilo sobre interesantísimas PARADOJAS: xitter.cf/david_perell/status/13…
Some paradoxes of modern life: 1. The paradox of reading: The books you read will profoundly change you even though you’ll forget the vast majority of what you read.

I have no idea what OpenAI did with GPT-6.1 Terra, but this thing runs like it's in Ultrafast mode when you enable Fast. And even at normal speed, it's ridiculously fast. I genuinely wasn't expecting this. It caught me completely off guard, and I think OpenAI has pulled off some kind of engineering miracle with this model's inference speed. OpenAI, please bring this level of optimization to every model going forward. The downside? Some users still can't access it. I'm already opening a support ticket to get the issue investigated.

Si usás agentes, Terra es muy bueno para pedirle a Sol que use subagentes. Le ponés tipo "usá subagentes con Terra o Luna cuando consideres necesario", incluso podés ponerlo en el AGENTS.md. Menor costo y mayor velocidad.
GPT-6.1 Terra: delivering fast and capable computer use at a lower price. GPT-6.1 Terra understands what’s on screen, takes action across apps, writes naturally, and is a more capable model for your whole workday with the efficiency to take on more of it.

Grok Bot 0.77 is starting to roll out!! > Your Bot can make phone calls with a live transcript
> Text your Bot over iMessage or RCS
> Read and send texts from Messages on your Mac
> Book flights and restaurant tables in chat
Grok Bot 0.77 looks INSANE 🔥 > Calls: your Bot can dial someone, sit on hold, press keys and get transferred while you watch a live transcript > Messages on Mac: a setup screen under Connect Apps, still switched off > Tailscale: Grok Bot can join your private tailnet once an admin approves it > Payments: a screen to connect payment accounts and pick a default, on top of yesterday’s Vault > Sharing: emails when someone shares a Bot with you, and invites need Premium or Ultra

This man left Anthropic to play WoW Forever. Fking legend.
I’ve left Anthropic after more than a year of working on Claude Code and seeing it scale larger than I ever imagined. I have really loved working at Ant and believe deeply in the mission, and most of all, the idea of a race to the top. The idea that if we work hard and responsibly, we can raise the bar and inspire others to great outcomes. And if we all push each other to be better, things can be radically good. I will carry the spirit of this with me forever. My colleagues at Anthropic are the most talented, thoughtful, competent, and earnest people I have ever met. I am glad they are at the wheel and trust them deeply. To the community on X, thank you for everything. You’ve made this the most fun (and sometimes stressful) job I’ve ever had. For me, it is time for a bit of a break before diving into something new. If you want more excellent Claude Code content, you should follow @addyosmani , @lydiahallie, @_catwu, @ClaudeDevs and of course @bcherny who started it all.

Dario Amodei: some tokens Claude produces are worth a few cents, others could be worth tens of millions of dollars. His examples: 1. Telling someone to restart their Mac: the model has said it 10 million times, worth a dollar or less 2. Telling a pharma company to move an aromatic ring to the other end of a molecule: potentially tens of millions 3. Expect pay-for-results pricing, or labor-like pricing by the hour 4. It's a new industry, so many models will be tried Today pricing is simpler: per the S-1, usage-based pricing was 80% of H1 2026 revenue and subscriptions 20%. This is an incredible moment in this history of mathematics, computer science, physics & science with some of the hardest problems in human history being solved by AI over a period of weeks. Depending on your perspective, it's either a crisis, a triumph, or both. I don't think anyone knows for sure. We're all trying to make sense of it. I oscillate between fear/dread and optimism/excitement on a daily basis. The rate of progress is insane, including today's announcement from OpenAI of more problems solved. To help make sense of all of it, here's my conversation with three mathematicians about this moment. Each of them is an expert in the field of each of the biggest problems solved: Navier-Stokes, quasi-Riemann hypothesis, the unique games conjecture and complexity theory more generally. Ankur Moitra is a mathematician and theoretical computer scientist at MIT, visiting the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton. Steven Brunton (@eigensteve) is a mathematician and fluid dynamics expert at UW. Alex Kontorovich (@AlexKontorovich) is a mathematician at Rutgers specializing in number theory.

If OpenAI’s post below leaves you unsure when to use GPT-6.1 Terra vs. Sol or Astra, OAI researcher @sandersted has some helpful guidance (via HN):
Replying to @OpenAI
GPT-6.1 Terra substantially outperforms GPT-5.6 Terra on Agents’ Last Exam, a test of how well agents use software at work. It even matches GPT-6 Astra at one-tenth the price per token and finishes tasks over 3× faster on average than both Astra and GPT-6.1 Sol.

I’m joining the team at @X to lead Product. I am a huge believer in @SpaceX's mission to extend human consciousness to the stars, so it’s time to make shitposting multiplanetary. X is the best way to find out what’s happening in the world right now and talk about it. The team has been working tirelessly to make X a better place and product for the people who love it, and many have noticed the recent momentum. My goal is to help accelerate that momentum for our community, new users, and businesses globally by continuing to make this product beautiful and useful. We are twenty years in, but it truly feels like X’s next chapter will be our greatest. I look forward to your ideas and feedback; I’m sure the replies will be measured and magnanimous.

Silly analysis. Robot RAM needs will exceed everything else on Earth, as you need the robots to be on physical substates in order to shape atoms. Super intelligence needs will vastly exceed that, but ~100% of SI will be deep space compute. Obviously.
