Players don’t give a damn about first round picks that would take their jobs. Players would play for that $30M though.
My idea, that I threw out live on @FrontOfficeShow, for what should happen to the picks the Clippers are forfeiting:
Give them to the winner of the in-season tournament. That gives teams something else to play for and no players are "punished" by one less FRP for five years.

Clippers got both DJJ and Dunn for less than what Caruso makes is such a steal. Been very critical of the FO but this was good work by them.
