High school athletics is fascinating because the same parent who demands accountability from coaches will explain why their child shouldn't have consequences for missing three practices.

Thank you to San Diego State for an unforgettable game-day visit. The energy on campus, the support from the coaches and staff, and the crowd were incredible. First, I stopped responding to people I don’t respect.
Then, I stopped trying to explain myself to people who benefit from misunderstanding me.
Finally, I stopped giving my attention to people I wouldn’t choose to sit across from at dinner.
Once you remove the noise, there really isn’t much left to respond to… because the people who matter aren’t the ones doing goofy shii.

Biggest mistake HS Offensive Coordinators make is not being consistent with what’s actually working
Most the time I’m watching and these DCs aren’t actually adjusting to what’s going on
OCs keep throwing that jab until the fights over and iterate off the same concept.
Winning = doing what works, simple.
I can’t be the only one that thinks @MaxPreps is completely unusable with all the ads and auto play videos right?

Every successful HS coach needs a strong right hand man that will be loyal to him & never undermine him. If you look at some of the best programs, they have loyal, smart Number 2 guys. WHO DONT WANT TO BETRAY THE HC. Too many assistant coaches with personal agendas
