One day you’re gonna wake up and AAU basketball will be over. No more weekend tournaments, packed gyms, or team hotels. No more “one more game” next weekend.
One day you’ll be out of eligibility for high school basketball. Then college basketball too.
And eventually, the thing that feels like your whole world right now becomes a memory.
So stop playing scared. Shoot your shot. Sprint the floor. Dive on the loose ball. Compete with confidence. Enjoy your teammates. Because one day you’ll wish you could go back and play just one more game with them.
Fear and hesitation have ended way more careers than missed shots ever will.
Just something to think about.

Nobody sees how hard you work in private. Sometimes it is thankless. Not appreciated. Keep doing what you do because even tho those ppl don’t understand your value there are many more who do! Keep grinding. Keep working.

✅ Team M-XIV 17U 3SSB would like to welcome class of 2027 6’2 Ava Johnson @AvaWavy30 back to the squad !! 📸 Ava is a big who has great feet and physicality in the post. Her footwork is amazing and can really score in the post. She is a great defensive rebounder who really controls the paint with her size. Ava continues every season to surprise teams by stepping outside and hitting her 3 ball. She can really shoot it for a big. She will be the anchor once again for Kankakee HS. Ava has a lot of college interest already.

A basic concept that is missed by a lot of young hoopers -
The players who compete at the highest levels do the simple things REALLY well.

Back from Nationals in Florida!🌴 Our team battled hard and finished 5th! 🙌🏽 So proud of everyone. I wrapped up the tournament hitting .333 with 6 hits, including 2 doubles, and brought high level defense every game.
