God’s plan never needed to make sense to me. I just had to trust it. Every setback. Every time I was overlooked. Every closed door. Every moment I questioned why things happened the way they did, God already knew exactly where he was leading me. Looking back, I understand now that my purpose was never to walk into a program that was already built and take credit for what was already there. I’ve been called to build. At Lakes, I helped restore a program, change the culture, put wins back on the board, and give athletes hope, confidence, exposure, and opportunities to play at the next level. And now, for my senior year, God has placed me at St. John Paul II Academy, a Catholic school where I can continue growing not only as a quarterback, but in my faith, leadership, and purpose. I believe God keeps placing me where something is waiting to be built. I don’t want the easy road. I don’t want to step into something that’s already finished. I want to be part of building something people will remember. Week 0 was only the beginning. 42-0. This is bigger than me. I want my teammates to be seen. I want the guys beside me to have opportunities they may not have had before. I want to help them get to college. I want to lead in a way that gives the people around me faith, hope, confidence, and belief in what they can become. Maybe all those setbacks were never setbacks at all. Maybe they were redirection. God wasn’t taking me away from my purpose. He was leading me straight to it. Senior year. New program. Stronger faith. Bigger purpose. I’m not here to join what’s already been built. I’m here to help build what comes next. All glory to God. 🙏🏽✝️ @CoachGadJacobs @Coachajmessina @FutureDraftStyl @EraPrep @ESPNTop63 @PrepRedzoneFL @PrepRedzone @NEP_Proscia @VarsityHSSports @FLHSRecruiting @FLHSFB6A7A @FL_MAXPREPS @MaxPreps @pbpost @FLgridironpreps @najitobias @Alex_Peterman @johnbarron_tv @JerryRecruiting @HurriSHane @QBHitList @ESPNTop63 @FHSAA @CRecruits @sixstarfootball
