Congratulations to @cariaga_roman on his commitment to the University of Oklahoma!
Nobody is going to give you anything in this game, and this kid is the perfect example of what happens when you put your head down, trust the process, and WORK. He worked his tail off to become the absolute DAWG he is today, and he’s earned every bit of this opportunity!
Proud of you and excited to watch you continue to prove people right in Norman!

Blessed to announce my commitment to Frank Phillips community college! @TBTTexas @JagBaseball16 @MrCoach310 @PlainsmenBB @alc_humphrys
The championship meant everything, but moments like this mean even more! Before celebrating with his own teammates, he stopped to hug two opposing players. The ring shows you won the game. Moments like this tells you way more about his character!!
Love you, son 🏆 ♥️

You can send emails.
You can post videos.
You can have a recruiting service.
You can DM coaches.
You can go to every showcase and camp in the country.
You can play travel baseball all over the country.
But
If you are not strong enough, physical enough and athletic enough, none of it matters.

Joey McGuire is the real deal.
I asked the players what it’s actually like playing for him. If you’re BS-ing, he’ll call you out in front of the entire team. But they’ll also tell you there isn’t another coach like him in America.
His door is always open. He knows your family & he genuinely cares about his players.
After the offseason Texas Tech just had, a steady, honest leader like McGuire might be exactly what they need to compete for the Big 12. ⬇️⬇️
