DeSci is and will be 100x enabled by AI -
each of the 5 figures (except for customers) can be an agent.
Scientists and individuals won't have any more to choose a role but can orchestrate agents that will take on most of the menial work.
From DeSci to DesAI
DeSci for me is building science from first principles.
Science needs 5 figures to work:
1. A builder with ideas for products, interventions, diagnostics
2. A funder paying for the experiments that test them
3. An executor running the experiments
4. A reviewer checking the plan is sound and the results hold
5. A customer buying what comes out of it
DeSci says you can be builder, reviewer and customer at once, with no credential, learning by doing and studying yourself.
Everything we put on top, university administrators, government agencies, the FDA, insurance, prescriptions, was never needed and won’t be.

Introducing Omnii-1, our most powerful genome language model, and a major step toward general biological intelligence
In a world first, Omnii-1 designed the first AI-generated bacteriophages to be administered to a human patient with an antibiotic-resistant infection under compassionate use
This looks insane 😭✨
Geeking out touring the Riken Fugaku supercomputer center with @MiraiTechCity as part of the @hausfund accelerator
It’s very appalling to me to see how people think how ‘dangerous’ AI is but never see how much of a helper/accelerator it is for a lot of beautiful things. It’s mostly the people who aren’t in the space and have no idea or clue how it works and it’s really sad
We’ve acquired Orchestra Bio, a platform that helps biopharma teams coordinate the complex process of drug development.
Together, we’ll build on Rosalind, our AI models and tools for life sciences research, to streamline those operations and help new treatments reach patients sooner.
Welcome @ashokaraj_ and team!

People who cured / are curing their own cancer on X:
1/ @sytses - bone cancer, billionaire founder of Gitlab, developed 10+ personalized therapies for himself.
2/ @paul_conyngham - shrank his dog Rosie's mast cell cancer tumors after chemo and surgery weren't enough. Now backed by YC and Founders Fund
3/ @miriamgonp - stage 4 breast cancer, tumor sequenced, searching for vaccine manufacturer now
4/ @kevinace - stage 4 lung cancer, angel investor in 300+ companies, first drug stopped working after 18 months. Vaccine designed, now paying $300k out of pocket for the vaccine
5/ @masonbgrant: going founder mode on his his 32-year-old wife's rare liver cancer, sequencing her tumor with AI agents
6/ @ArunRLverma: former product leader at Atoms and Shopify, brain tumor, built a vaccine from his tumor. Now building an AI health agent startup based on what he went through
We're going to make it
Been a pretty cool week (last)
- Had an awesome conversation with @sergekoren about Genomics, computation and so much more
- Got into investor radar 🙂↕️
- T2T project is moving smoothly @undiagnosed_1 and i have been working tirelessly
- applied to @hausfund

The world is all kinds of strange nowadays and so we're looking for the odd ones, the people on the edge of the possible in biotech to join the @hausfund accelerator program
