By the numbers for @CollX_App:
🔥 5M+ collectors
📈 Debut Patch of Javier Sanoja sells for $20K
✅ $65K Kobe/LeBron @Topps card, topping recent @GoldinCo sale
💥 Carmelo Anthony Nebula auto beats @altxyzofficial & @Collect sales
The momentum is REAL people! Job not finished.

One of the newer pricing challenges I'm seeing on @CollX_App: how do you value a 1/1 card, like this Sanoja Rookie Debut Patch?
This is the RDPA for Javier Sanoja, a stud on the @Marlins, pulled from a 2025 @Topps Chrome Update box. Valuable, no doubt. But we don't have an estimated price for it on the app yet. Pricing a card like this is hard.
There are plenty of RDPA 1/1 sales on the secondary market. Paul Skenes Rookie Debut Patch Autograph was one of the first big ones, at $1.1 million (to Dick's Sporting Goods, of all buyers). Just last week the Cooper Flagg NBA Debut patch sold for over $8 million on Fanatics Collect.
That said, a lot of Debut patch cards land nowhere near that premium. Recent comps for 1/1 Debut patches sit below $5k for players like Vanasco, Triolo, Sweeney, Simon. Not household names (yet).
When they cross into superstar status, prices pop. Pete Crow-Armstrong tying Kyle Schwarber with 45 home runs this year is a good example. PCA's 1-of-1 MLB Debut Patch Autograph is at auction on Goldin and could push toward Skenes territory.
Closer comps for the Sanoja: Colton Cowser RDPA at $49,410 and Drake Baldwin RDPA at $19,520. The seller has this one listed at $15k.
One funny thing about 1/1s: there isn't a deep pool of collectors chasing them. Superfractors, Debut cards, Logomans. Only a handful of people can actually afford these.
Sanoja is a real player. Gold Glove in his 2025 rookie season, then .298 / .798 OPS with 48 extra-base hits, 11 HR, 69 RBI, 11 steals, and only 39 Ks in 2026. Outstanding by any objective measure.
On CollX, when we don't have a direct historical comp, we back into a price from other sales in the set: low-set baseline, then multipliers for player, serial, auto, and so on. For an RDPA subset, the main differentiator is the player. Even with enough comps, I doubt the algorithm would nail it.
1/1 cards like this just defy normal pricing logic.

I don’t do a ton of prospecting but every year I try and find at least one quarterback who I think is undervalued and try and pick up their singles. This year the guy I’m targeting is Cam Ward and I just got 3 of his cards in the mail from @CollX_App
