It’s nearly that time of year again when, on December 21st #Staffords & #Mercians come together and meet at the Kings Head pub in #Lichfield, their regimental birthplace, to commemorate the Battle of #Ferozeshah. @VisitLichfield @MercianRegiment See you there!

Yesterday’s Ferozeshah celebrations culminated with Officers invited to the Warrant Officers and Sergeants’ Mess and the same exacting standards from both Colour Parties as the Regimental and Queen’s Colours were returned to the Officers’ Mess at Midnight. #StandFirmStrikeHard

@ArmyCGS has said “we must actively foster an environment in which inappropriate behaviour is not tolerated”. We all wear the same uniform and made a promise to our country so don’t be a bystander and challenge bad behaviour, regardless of rank. Let’s get after this together.
All Generals just received this from @ArmyCGS. Such behaviours by a minority are wildly at odds with the @BritishArmy’s Values and Standards and are totally unacceptable. We must do even more to foster respect, opportunity for all and diversity throughout our ranks. #CallitOut
