Shame about yesterday’s result but good to get the season underway at the Park Oval. Some strong individual performances but we were outplayed by @swinbrookcc, so well done to them. We look forward to playing you later in the season 🟢⚪️

Not supplying an umpire is unacceptable- the @Cherwellcricket view that you get 1 point bonus is ridiculous.
I didn’t come to stand at square leg on my wknd as the oppo can’t sort an umpire.
You looked down on OCA but they knew…5 points not 1 if you can’t provide one
Incredible win today. Beating the previously unbeaten team Marston St Lawrence. Very well spirited game - runs from @tom_dingwall6 and wickets across the board. #WeAreCombe
Back to back wins for the White Rose. Another ton for @ChrisMoore333 vs Chippy followed by a great all round bowling performance to get the job done.
Also a big thanks to everyone who participated in the annual memorial game celebrating the Combe legend Bob Moss. #WeAreCombe
Disappointed not to get the win yesterday after a hard fought game against @SUWCC. Credit to Shipton for their batting performance at the end of the game.
Anyway, out of genuine curiosity…who is actually in favour of WLD?! (If “Yes”, please explain why)

A win yesterday against @ChippingNortonC. One of our best performances with a ton from the skipper (@ChrisMoore333) and wickets for all of our bowlers.
4/4. The streak continues.
Another win for Combe CC yesterday after a close game against @MinsterLovellCC. A strong batting performance, led by the skipper (@ChrisMoore333), followed by a quality display of bowling. The winning streak continues. 🏏🏏💚💚
Another win for the mighty Combe CC! 2 out of 2 (we don’t count forfeits…). Big partnership from @ChrisMoore333 and @tom_dingwall6 and then wickets from Jules, Syed, Colin and Mike #WeAreCombe 🏏🏏🏏🏏
Great win today for the mighty Combe CC - off to a flyer on the first game of the season. A very competitive game vs @swinbrookcc - look forward to playing you again later in the season! 🏏🏏🏏

Another season comes to an end for Combe CC. Disappointed not to finish higher up the table but faced some tough competition at the back end of the season. Time for a break over the winter and then onto 2024!
Will miss these sunsets at the Park Oval!
Unsurprisingly our game away @deddy_cricket is off. Amazed it took this long to make that decision to be fair. 😂🌊💧🌨️💦☔️ – at South East, England
