Reminder: if Dems win (technically hold) 2 and flip county judge, Dems flip control on the Tarrant County government.
It’s the most important local race pair across Texas.
#LOCAL: Tarrant County will be holding elections for District 2, District 4, as well as the at-large county judge seat on the new map in November 2026.

Sit Down And Don’t Say Anything Else
During the 9/1/26 discussion ahead of the vote to cut 92 polling places, Commissioner Simmons challenged the hypocrisy and yes, they admitted the redistricting was about power. So one should assume this is too!
November is coming.

🚨 After trying to close 140 polling places last month, Republicans in Tarrant county are now pushing a plan to close 92 polling places 🚨
This is not a compromise. Closing one-third of polling places compared to 2022– despite the county growing– is voter suppression.

This is @CommALSimmons she’s running for County Judge for Tarrant County to replace the current racist county judge.
The republicans are trying to shut you up.
Fort Worth stands as the final major city, while Tarrant County is the last significant republican stronghold in Texas. Following the special election on January 31, democrats successfully flipped a district that had been a republican stronghold since 1991, achieving a remarkable shift of over 30 points.
What I mean to convey is that just as democrats turned Texas Senate District 9, we have the opportunity to flip this County Judge seat in favor of Alisa Simmons.
REPUBLICANS ARE GOING DOWN IN TEXAS!!!
