I’ll never forget 2010. My daughter put the Pink Friday CD in and said, Mom, listen to this! I’ve been a Barb ever since 🩷, and my husband caught a lifelong crush. We were leaving for a family road trip at Thanksgiving that same year into the Smoky Mountains. That CD played all the way down and all the way back. We pulled over to an overlook and we all got out of the car. I asked everyone to be quiet, listen, and soak in God’s country, then I started the song Moment 4 Life. The song got embedded in all of us. Every time I hear it, I’m back at that overlook, that spot, that time, that moment. We shared it with Nicki, and we still do every single time we hear it. Thank you, Nicki, for that moment in life we will never forget.

America has been the GREATEST country ever concieved in history but we allowed our REPUBLIC to be invaded by the ENEMY. As a Marine who volunteered his life to protect freedoms I have watched our REPUBLIC slipping away from each and every one of us. We allowed the freedoms we were blessed with to be plundered by the enemy who hates AMERICA and the REPUBLIC for which it stands. I was lied to over the years as were all the people around me BUT we did not see the lie soon enough. We trusted men and women to do OUR hard work and they have been manipulated and BOUGHT for the last 60, 80 and 100 years with thirty pieces of silver here and there. We have not yet lost America for neglecting our duty. We still have a chance to win back the REPUBLIC for which we owe all our large, small and tiny blessings. If we FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT there is a small chance our children and grandchildren will not be enslaved by a dictatorship who HATES OUR REPUBLIC and our AMERICAN FREEDOM!!
Today you can VOTE for freedom. In 20 or 30 years our children and grandchildren or great grandchildren will be required to spill their blood and lose their life for it and that is a big maybe with a big QUESTION MARK?
This is not a new war against freedom. We did not totally win 100% in 1776. We only SECURED THE OPPORTUNITY to keep fighting...to fight and hold onto the REPUBLIC for which those brave souls stood way back when but we got lazy or disengaged to pursue a hobby. I'm in Georgia this morning. Gas prices are $3.65 per gallon on average, per AAA.
In Illinois, a gallon today costs $4.89.
Nearly $1.25 per gallon more expensive for Illinoisans.
One big reason? Gasoline taxes.
While @GovPritzker has been hiking gas taxes since 2019, now the 2nd- or 3rd-highest in the country, Georgia has kept them low.
And Gov. Kemp has even suspended the 33 cent motor fuel tax for now.
