Hi y’all. Serious post here. Aaliyah is one of our own from Dancer’s Edge and Indiana Ballet Conservatory. I believe she is still missing believed to be in Palm Beach, FL. Calling on anyone & everyone to share to help bring her home. @StarQuestDance @Legacy_dance @TributeToDance

The thing about competition dancing is that winning or losing won’t define you in the long run. As a dancer who is becoming an artist, your authenticity and your resilience, will. – at Santa Fe, NM

POTUS’ latest temper tantrum is not about border security. Like a spoiled two year old holding his breath, he is holding our nation hostage—trying to force taxpayers to foot the bill for his vanity project he promised Mexico would fund. Meanwhile, the country suffers.

Great. Do you provide a wood instrument for the tap Dancers yet? Still waiting after all these years.....Maybe some @OMaraFloors or something 🤔 what’s fair is fair. #respectthedance #tapfriendly – at Kingston, NH
I’m loving this year’s pairings. Over two dances they have to perform each others styles on tomorrow night’s show. Choreographers Tyce, Travis, Mandy, Ray, Jean Marc, Luther, Val, Talia, Anthony are weaving their magic and Twitch is back on the judging panel. #SYTYCD @DANCEonFOX

Ugh. Tap choreographers. Could we please choreograph to compliment the music rather than compete with it? It is not all about how fast your feet move or how loud you can stomp.

Dear people at auditions who think the world will be handed to them, guess what if you want to move to another level you have to work harder than you have before. You’re not entitled to anything!

Some people consider the practice of love and compassion is only related to religious practice and if they are not interested in religion they neglect these inner values. But love and compassion are qualities that human beings require just to live together.

I see your feet moving, it looks like you are tapping, but I can’t be sure because the music is too LOUD.

Dear public school dress codes, I am a person not an object for people to stare at. If the length of my skirt or bra strap is taking away from your learning, maybe I’m not the one with the problem .

Our mindset as we enter the studio to teach our dancers, directly impacts the results we see in our students. If we try to impress our students with our talent or knowledge, the ego becomes an obstacle.

Also @TributeToDance has always had at least one tap judge at their comp.

I can tell you that @StarQuestDance has always been tap friendly and they mike their stage.

I really wish choreographers thought their choreography through. For the kids. The minors. The non-adults. Does your 13 year old need to hump the floor? Does your 11 year old boy need to sexily remove the skirt from a 10 year old girl? Does your 8 year old need stripper moves?...

So many routines with potential to be great but the choreographer spent more time on tricks instead of counts and dancing in unison

Jaime Guttenberg, my amazing 14 year old Sister. I write this as I sit at her dance competition and watch all the dances she SHOULD be in. She had so much ahead of her. teapawt.net/ryan_deitsch/status/98…
