Some of you know I am a whistleblower. I was a whistleblower due to safety reasons related to my Commanding Officer and former friend trying to take/send broken airplanes flying. I endured the whole gamut of retaliation as a result. At my Board of Inquiry, I explained why I was there: I tried to keep my former friend from turning himself into a smoking hole, and he took issue with that and engaged in a systematic scheme of retaliation in collusion with his O6 boss and the Admiral. Several days ago, he was in a General Aviation aircraft as the instructor/evaluator, and he and his student turned themselves into a smoking hole doing stupid things in a Baron that should never have been done at the altitude in question. I don't know how I feel about this. Please pray for his family and for his immortal soul and the family and immortal soul of his (much older) student. I hate being right all the time...

To those who seek to create positive change in Cuba - now is the time. The disappointment of failed promises, corruption, and the privileged lives of only a few; seize this opportunity to create the change you desire through a discrete partnership with the CIA.

Just straight up gaslighting us. She said she wanted to scare conservative kids from serving in this admin.
The American people have watched President Trump enrich himself and his cronies. Members of both parties should be calling out this Administration's corruption - like @SenatorSlotkin is doing. She is simply saying that no one is above the law, and no one should be.

Good guys (parents) with guns were on site in Uvalde and were actively stopped by law enforcement. Law enforcement also does not have a general duty to protect you or your children from private violence. Good guys w guns could have prevented more dead children. There will always be evil and people who wish to do harm in this world. Eliminating the ability for parents to lawfully protect their children from harm with lethal force will not prevent that. It will simply allow those who intend on doing evil to do more of it. Carry and train like your lives and the lives of those you love depend on it.
Hoplophobes will champion Uvalde as an example of “good guys with guns doing nothing” They will shit on good guys when they actually do something like in Oregon. Hoplophobes pray for death. They relish in these events. Fuck them.

Florida ain't messing around! The state is ready for Major Hurricane Isaias. Never seen so many lineman ready to rock n' roll. Word is 5000+ trucks just here alone. Escambia County near Pensacola.

The deliberate targeting of innocents in modern war is always intrinsically wrong. That said... there are gray areas. I was once flying over Basra and my wingman and I were working with a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) who was tracking a high-value-target (HVT) in a parked truck. We got Positive ID (PID), and we were setting up to shoot the truck (my wingman was lasing the target, and I was extending for the attack run)... and the truck started moving into city traffic. After swapping roles (lasing/shooting) a few times due to limitations on sensor field of view, we weren't exactly sure we had PID anymore, and the truck was in bumper-to-bumper traffic. The JTAC was yelling at us to shoot it. I safed up the jet and told the JTAC, "he got away; we don't have PID anymore, and the collateral damage would be WAY too high." He was furious. Thankfully, by the time we got back to the boat, cooler heads had prevailed. Now... that's modern warfare with precision weapons and air dominance. That isn't dumb bombs from B17s taking flack and getting jumped by squadrons of enemy fighters. That context matters - deeply. We in the West are spoiled so rotten by watching news clips and youtube shorts about the scalpels of modern limited warfare that we have forgotten the broadswords of total warfare ever existed at all. Viewing events in total war - existential war - like Hiroshima and Nagasaki and Dresden and Tokyo through that limited-warfare-scalpel lens is simply not intellectually honest and it makes the ones condemning those who fought such an existential war (nearly a century earlier with significantly less precision, intelligence and weaponeering capability than we take for granted today) look very silly to those of us who have studied and participated in both warfare and the moral reasoning that accompanies it for decades.
Even as an anti abortion activist, I don’t see an equivalency in the pushback in these two scenarios. On the abortion side, the pro baby killers push back. On the deliberate killing of innocence in war, the pushback and the rationalization is far more across the board. Double effect probably has something to do with that.

Tales from back in the day When I retired from the Navy I went to law school and became a lawyer at a large firm in Phoenix. A grizzled old lawyer named Mark who was one of the best litigators in the southwest took me under his wing. Once a week we would have breakfast at this little diner. At one of those breakfasts he asked me "what is the one biggest difference between being a lawyer and a pilot?" I said 'oh hell Mark, that's easy. As a Naval Aviator I could count the number of pilots I disliked on one hand. As a lawyer I can count the number of lawyers I like on the same hand."

Time for some real talk with Cory... as I was hinting to a couple times on here, I had a pretty serious mishap in Jan 2005. I even have a video of me walking away, pretty pissed off, filmed by CNN. But that's not what I want to talk about. First, I would like to say that if you were in Banda Aceh in Dec 2004/Jan 2005 for the earthquake and tsunami. Thank you for your service. I would like to especially think ALL the crew of the USS Abraham Lincoln during this time. We did something never done before. We dedicated all the recourses on the ship to sun up, sun down helicopter flight operations. This was a big deal. We had CO's of fighter squadrons walking in our ready room saying we will take all your extra work so you guys can keep going. That actually makes me more emotional than the mishap... So anyway, thanks to everyone. Second, my squadron in particular flew every crew we had, sun up to sun down, no crew swap, for 30 days! You read that correct. My entire squadron had to get CNAF flight hour waivers, I want you to think about that. So then I crash, and I walk away. Nine days later I went back out. Nine days after a catastrophic class a mishap, I got back out there. There was no question in my mind, people needed help and that was my job. So i got it done. I didn't even know what PTSD was yet, but I wouldn't have cared. Looking back now, I have no regrets, none. We do the things we do because we raised our hand to do it. That being said, once the job is done and you are home these things need to be addressed. I say none of this to brag, I say this to help. Take the time you need to heal and maybe more importantly, leaders recognize when your people need that time. Thanks for making it all the way to the end!🤘🇺🇸🚁

NAFO and Leftists military adjacent accounts have spent so much of their mental energy attacking a US servicemember such that the servicemember has received threats to his life and livelihood. I’m not a national security lawyer but it seems to me that colluding to share information and post at him with threats of death, injury, and career retribution in an attempt to quiet him and potentially to impact his work in his official capacity - work that he is doing on behalf of a democratically elected government - would seem to be a violation of one to many federal laws including and up to sedition. I don’t know tho, maybe that’s just how I look at it.
🧵1/ The United States is at war. American soldiers were killed in Jordan in July. Four 4-star commanders have told the Secretary of War, formally, that they do not concur with fighting Iran into 2027. A lieutenant colonel on that Secretary's staff spent the same weeks, to 104,000 followers, on: • a Massachusetts jury — "not possible to hate these people enough. Nevertheless, try." • a lawyer with 8,000 followers — "human filth… let this partisan JAG filth know what you think of her." • the Washington Post — "aid and comfort to armed enemies of the United States." • Islam — "attempting to conquer the west since its founding." • a schoolteacher — she should lose her job, and so should anyone who "stand[s] beside her in silence." The war is the job. This is the timeline. The Army referred questions to the Pentagon. The Pentagon says he is not a spokesman. Nobody has said he is not on the staff. teapawt.net/infantrydort?s=20

The war with Iran has gone on longer than anyone expected. If we are serious about preventing the Iranian dictatorship from acquiring nuclear weapons, President Trump must make the case directly to the American people. A war of this scale requires public understanding and support. gingrich360.net/p/the-americ…

On September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorists carried out a cowardly attack and murdered nearly 3,000 Americans. Twenty-five years later, we remember the lives lost, the heroes who ran toward the danger, and the families who still carry that loss. We will never forget.

I was on active duty when September 11th happened. During the totality of the experience that day, this one thing stands out for me. This one thing. Aircraft hitting buildings, fire, flame, catastrophic building collapse, calamity, tragedy, fear, mass death. Immeasurable in its emotional scale. But this one thing stands out among all that, very clearly for me. The cancerous perversion of Faith known as Islam forced my countrymen to choose: leap from a building or burn to death. Husbands & Wives, Fathers & Mothers, Sons and Daughters, choose: Defenestration or Immolation. We should offer Islam the same choices.
The jumpers started at 8:46. Networks had the tape. They hid Americans choosing the air over the fire. Then they spent 25 years treating the word Islam like a crime. The footage was “too graphic.” The truth was forbidden. This day is stamped in my heart forever...

Live broadcasts on 9/11 reported and showed people jumping from the WTC towers in real time. Networks later limited graphic replays out of sensitivity; the events were not hidden. biofuelsdigest.com/how-we-experie… theguardian.com/theobserver/20… nytimes.com/2004/09/10/nyr…
