Ohio voters already must show photo ID at the polls. Issue 3 doesn’t boost election security at all. Its twin purposes are to repeat unsupported claims about election integrity & block any future General Assembly from broadening the definition of acceptance photo IDs. VOTE NO.
Replying to @jbalmert
Treasurer Robert Sprague, who is running for Secretary of State: “If you have to show photo ID to buy a beer in the state of Ohio, I think that you should have to show a photo ID to be able to vote in the great state of Ohio,” he said. Issue 3 would put photo ID in Constitution.

Well that’s great because you already do have to show your ID to vote

CollegeHumor in 2012: the 5 ways you get your dick sucked in college Dropout in 2026: We asked 3 softspoken millenial men to improvise how they'd hold your hand as you come out to your parents as bisexual
it remains so so funny that CollegeHumor began as a low-budget, frequently mean sketch channel for edgy 20-somethings, and has become a wildly high-budget, play-it-safe improv platform with the most Care Bear audience imaginable

The preview picture in the tweet shows exactly how stupid you’d have to be to not know which one is which, but then again, these are conservatives, so….
BREAKING: NYT reports that operatives with Democratic Alaska U.S. Senate candidate Mary Peltola’s campaign were behind the effort to find & recruit a candidate named Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent GOP Senator Dan S. Sullivan in an effort to confuse voters and peel votes from him. Specifically, NYT says they have reviewed text messages and documents that reveal in summer 2025, a Peltola staffer received instructions from campaign staffers to find as many people named Dan Sullivan in Alaska as possible. The staffer complied, going through voter records, and compiled a list. The operation “involved secret trips to far-flung Alaskan communities and the appearance of a mysterious Midwestern operative, who traversed the state using a fake name and made his pitch to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs.” Per NYT: “The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan.” nytimes.com/2026/10/28/us/po…

What makes this especially vile is that in a taped 2020 interview with Operation Rescue, Donna Arthur acknowledged the allegations that Cledith Arthur had raped his biological daughter in a previous marriage. Here those accusations are confirmed by the late siter:

I laugh every time I drive by this. I have to assume the billboard owner died and no one has bothered to claim it since then
Anyone got any intel on this? Been driving by it since 2018 on way to Chicago. I guess there's also one in South Michigan that's been up forever.

So I recently badgered my cinematographer @steveyedlin into making my ideal iPhone still camera app. It shoots RAW, bypasses the iPhone's look processing and instead uses the same image processing we use on our movies. apps.apple.com/app/apple-sto…

You’re willing to look past Tyreke Hill being a monster because he an all pro? Gross, but I can at least understand that in the business of football. A washed up 40 year old sex pest kicker who has been out of the league for 2 years? You have an organizational problem

Sitcoms used to be designed to run for 7+ years, with 23 episodes per season. Modern comedies aren’t designed for that, and most people, both viewers and the people making them, don’t want that. This is why more concept driven comedies are more common. You can do it for 50-60 eps
I don't want to crap on this without seeing it but I'm going to say... Modern comedies rely too heavily on concept. Concept-heavy comedies *can* be funny but the jokes have to live outside the concept. Friends was just a group of people living in New York. That was the concept. Seinfeld was, notoriously, concept-free. Arrested Development was "Rich family loses everything". Simple easy concept with lots of room for humor to grow and exist outside of the concept. Most new comedies are very reliant on concept and setting to drive the humor which *can* work but the writing needs to give room for genuine laughs that go beyond "here's the gag!". M*A*S*H is a masterful example of a concept-driven sitcom that used its setting as an easy vehicle for its writing. Ted Lasso bored the heck out of me because after I got used to the initial concept the jokes just didn't land.

he’s the elizabeth holmes of football coaches. all of these things are simply happening around him and he has no explanation for any of it. but he’s also the boss
The lack of self reflection in this answer is super telling and is really sad frankly. Head coaches grade things all the time. Their players. Each week in practice and in their games. Their coaches. The game plans and the in-game performance. The prospects they are looking at. On and on. And any GOOD leader is always looking at himself and grading himself. The best ones even hire outside people to look and grade them with fresh eyes. This program can’t go anywhere with a leader who refuses to look at himself with a critical lens. The gifts he had as a player that allowed him to not grade himself did not follow him into coaching. His physical gifts can’t help him in coaching. Any leader tasked with evaluating and grading other people should take the time to sit down and evaluate and grade himself just like everyone else. You can’t get better without an honest look at who you are, how you lead, and what role did you have in the negative parts of what is happening to your team. Self reflection. Introspection. Find the places for needed improvement. Put a grade on it. #SkoBuffs

It is buck wild watching Christians get Flannery O'Connor's icicle of justice and actually notice other humans exist for the first time. It's like they're all Tracy Jordan in the 30 Rock bit where he didn't realize all women had parents until he had a daughter.

I just increased the fundraising goal for Samuel Sey's family.
