A little space. Sack bags. The right knowledge.
Through the GreenLiving Initiative, CADEF is equipping participants to grow food in the spaces they have and pass that knowledge on.
That’s a #SharingCommunity in action.

Food waste may seem like a small everyday issue, but when we all make more thoughtful choices, the impact can be significant.
This Green Action Week 2026, let’s rethink what we do with the food we have—save what we can, share what we don’t need, and keep good food from becoming waste.
Because food deserves to be valued, not wasted.
SAVE FOOD. CUT WASTE. SHARE MORE.

Onward toward an internet that knows you and does things for you, on your terms.
I’m pleased to be joining @Consumers_Int’s AI Advisory Board. The organization brings together over 200 consumer protection organizations in more than 100 countries, including @ConsumerReports and @WhichUK.
Their new campaign, Reimagining Privacy in the AI Era, calls for a fundamental rethink of how we protect privacy. People need protections built into the systems they use, with companies and policymakers taking responsibility for how personal data is used and what AI infers from it.

This connects closely to what we’re building at @koodos. As AI develops richer representations of who we are, people should be able to understand and correct those representations, control who can access them, and move their context safely between services.
And the even deeper challenge is distribution: how do we make that agency accessible to as many people as possible?
I’m looking forward to contributing to this work and learning from the consumer organizations involved.

When a Solar Panel Creates More Than Clean Energy
Making a religious leader a proactive advocate for clean energy is a big win.
The journey may have started with a practical need: rising electricity costs and the desire to provide a more comfortable learning environment for students at a madrassa.
Installing solar offered a way to reduce electricity bills while extending cooling comfort to students during Pakistan’s increasingly hot summers.
But something bigger happened in the process.
The religious leader became not just a consumer of clean energy, but an advocate for it—using his position and influence to encourage others to consider clean, affordable, and sustainable energy solutions.
This is exactly the kind of change we want to see: when people adopt clean energy because it makes economic and practical sense, and then become ambassadors for the energy transition within their communities.
His story also gives greater credibility to the message being shared through Sabz Bijli, our consumer-focused one-stop information platform at sabzbijli.pk
Clean energy is not only about technology. It is about people, choices and communities.
And when trusted community voices start sharing that message, the energy transition becomes a movement.
