Gitlab RCE, Railway env vars leak, + 7 other major leaks you may need to immediately patch:
🚨 Nightmare day for cybersecurity
Multiple major security incidents, active exploits, supply chain compromises...
If you run production systems, start patching NOW.
PHP: Two critical unauthenticated RCEs. Attackers already exploiting them. Patch NOW
LiteLLM: v1.107.0 on PyPI and Docker is BACKDOORED. Steals cloud, SSH, and AI credentials. Pin 1.106.2. Rotate secrets.
eMudhra: A certificate authority's keys were crackable. Update your browsers, systems, and trust stores.
Node.js / Next.js / React: Security releases for Brotli RCE, TLS bypasses, and TWO critical Next.js RCEs.
TiDB Cloud: PingCAP breached through stolen credentials. Customer information and other sensitive data exfiltrated. Read the attacker's release, fun stuff.
Plex2Shell: Weaponized within HOURS of the PoC. Attackers already deploying cryptominers and proxy backdoors.
BeyondTrust / Ivanti: Actively exploited zero-days added to CISA's KEV catalog. BeyondTrust attacks linked to a China-nexus campaign.
And that's not even the full list.
Patch. Audit. Rotate. NOW.

Railway is compromised, rotate all API keys as soon as possible
Deployments are down so don’t wait to redeploy
Attackers are draining keys in real time, we didn’t lose much but can confirm this is still an active attack
Stay safe friends

CNN reports Trump is so worried about Democrats winning the election that his "outside advisors" are telling him to declare martial law.
Scary shit and we need to be ready.
This one normal sized building would represent 7.4 months of new units for the entirety of San Francisco
WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE CAPITAL OF NIMBYVILLE?
Another long-stalled San Francisco tower is suddenly back: 45 stories, 480 feet and 501 apartments replacing a half-acre parking lot in SoMa.
It joins a growing list of dormant housing projects waking up across the city.
After years of killing development, is San Francisco finally entering a building boom?

😳 Trump is now literally trying to buy votes 😳
Trump just now announced that if Republicans keep the House and Senate in November, "I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000." He suggested the money will come from tariffs.
The desperation is palpable. Here's the full clip of his announcement:
Video shows Flock walking police through how to monitor a No Kings protest in real time. I do not have to agree with a single sign at that protest to say this plainly: Surveillance aimed at your political opponents today will be aimed at you tomorrow.
Ruh roh. Here is a leaked webinar hosted by Flock demonstrating to police how to track individuals in real time involved in the no kings protests. Maybe you’re thinking “so what?! I don’t go to those and don’t agree with those who did.”
Let me remind you, a digital dragnet built to target your political opponents today will be used against you tomorrow.
Once the surveillance state is turned on, it watches everyone.

Completely illegal and incredibly dystopian.

We have now reached the long awaited moment when, instead of models cheating where they will inevitably get caught, Astra goes 'wait a minute I would obviously be caught here' and then doesn't cheat.
That's worse, you know why that's worse, right?

How to mentally place yourself in the future:
First, go to chatjimmy.ai and viscerally feel what 15,000 tokens per second is like. Taalas burned Llama 3.1 8B directly into custom silicon
Next, imagine that same blazing speed but running OpenAI GPT-6 Astra that came out today, a model only 2 years more advanced than the model ChatJimmy serves
Finally, imagine every phone having a chip like this serving Astra-level intelligence with speeds approaching "instant" for any task no matter the complexity
What then?

ICE wants to build a nationwide database of voters, their voting history and, potentially, their party affiliations too.

i am once again telling you that the reason this happens is because the agent is spamming api calls for reads and from this is violating facebook ads api TOS
and how to solve for this is pull data through data pipeline and put into a data warehouse
and reads only happen from warehouse and the api is only used for writes
and by doing this you won’t violate fb tos and your agent wonts do 1000x api calls a second for reads

California can’t build anything.
Prop 45 can change that… but Eric Schmidt’s family is fighting to keep the status quo.
Prop 45 would reform CEQA for housing, energy, water, transportation and other essential projects by imposing deadlines, limiting the truly insane amounts of environmental review, and making it harder to use lawsuits to stall projects for years.
CEQA sounds like an environmental protection law, so you might instinctively support it. In practice, it is one of California’s most powerful tools for delaying and killing projects, mostly for reasons that have nothing to do with the environment.
Wendy Schmidt, Eric Schmidt’s wife, is helping bankroll the campaign to defeat Prop 45, alongside construction unions (!).
So why would construction unions fight a measure that makes it easier to construct things?
Because their ability to stop construction is valuable to them.
CEQA gives unions ENORMOUS leverage over developers. The threat of years of delays and litigation can be used to push developers into project labor agreements and other labor concessions before opposition disappears, and makes everything more expensive to build.
So: a law ostensibly about the environment creates enormous power for groups whose leverage comes from their ability to stop things from getting built.
It’s sort of funny- the opponents to it are literally complaining that Prop 45 will make it easier to build.
Exactly!
California has spent decades empowering anyone who wants to say no. Prop 45 makes it easier to finally say yes.
Vote YES on Prop 45! And if you are close to Wendy please shake a fist at her for me.
Wendy Schmidt, the wife of former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, drops $5 million into the committee opposing California's Prop 45, which would limit CEQA environmental reviews in order to make it easier to build housing.
