Soumaila Savan茅, Ambassadeur de la R茅publique de Guin茅e au Rwanda, dans le cadre d鈥檜ne visite d鈥櫭﹖ude de sept jours consacr茅e au partage d鈥檈xp茅riences et de bonnes pratiques dans le secteur de la sant茅.
Cette visite permettra 脿 la d茅l茅gation guin茅enne d'茅changer avec diff茅rentes institutions sur l鈥檈xp茅rience du Rwanda en mati猫re de couverture sanitaire universelle, notamment le syst猫me des mutuelles de sant茅, le financement bas茅 sur la performance, les services de sant茅 communautaire, la digitalisation des donn茅es sanitaires ainsi que la gestion des cha卯nes d鈥檃pprovisionnement en produits m茅dicaux.
In Portugal, CEO @RNiwenshuti1 attended the 10th International Meeting on Triangular Cooperation.
On the sidelines, he met with the Secretary-General Dr. Helder da Costa, and Habib Ur Rehman Mayar Deputy Secretary-General of the @g7plus to discuss expanding the existing Memorandum of Understanding to cover all 20 member countries, up from the initial seven, strengthening knowledge exchange and institutional collaboration through South-South and Triangular Cooperation.

Minister of State for National Treasury @GodfreyKabera welcomed a delegation from the Republic of Liberia, led by Hon. Edward K. Mulbah, Deputy Minister of Local Government and Decentralization, for a benchmarking exchange on decentralization.
Discussions focused on best practices in strengthening subnational governance, fiscal decentralization, and local service delivery. The exchange also explored Rwanda's approach to district financing and public financial management as well as promoting knowledge-sharing between Liberia and Rwanda.

Today, CG @RNiwenshuti2 received Liberia鈥檚 Deputy Minister for Local Government and Decentralization, Edward K. Mulbah, and his delegation, who are visiting Rwanda to exchange experiences and strengthen cooperation in governance, fiscal decentralization and local service delivery.
CG Niwenshuti highlighted the longstanding cooperation between Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) and the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA), reaffirming RRA鈥檚 commitment to sharing expertise in areas of mutual interest. He also emphasized the role of digitalization and automation in improving tax administration and efficiency.
RRA shared strategies adopted since 2014, when it was mandated to collect local government taxes. These include expanding the tax base, improving declarations and assessments, promoting taxpayer education and voluntary compliance, strengthening enforcement, and leveraging digitalization and data sharing. These efforts have increased local government tax and fee collections from Frw 40.5 billion in FY 2015/2016 to Frw 138.2 billion in FY 2025/2026.
Hon. Mulbah highlighted the strong Rwanda鈥揕iberia relationship and underscored the value of knowledge exchange and collaboration in strengthening tax collection and domestic revenue mobilization in both countries.
