My problem is I get bored painting the same subject matter, in the same media, in the same style, over and over and over again, and the only way to really make it as an artist is to paint the same subject matter, in the same media, in the same style, over and over and over again.

Walt Disney wanted the spaghetti scene in Lady and the Tramp, one of cinema’s most iconic moments, cut because he thought it was stupid. Animator Frank Thomas snuck the sequence into a rough cut. When Walt saw Tramp nudge the last meatball to Lady, he was so moved he backed down.

When you listen to interviews with people who were suspicious of Theranos, it’s kinda striking how simple their red flags were: not a single paper had been published by Theranos, Liz Holmes had only two semesters of undergrad biology and engineering under her belt, etc

If MLB uses the 45 degree rule in the future to define a swing then I want nothing to do with this review system Bat broke front of the plate which, imo, has always and should forever be the definition of a swing 45 degrees in insane. It will always be a check swing then
