Stablecoin Trading Volume Has Dropped Nearly 50% Since January 2026 Stablecoin trading activity has slowed significantly this year. Monthly volume fell from approximately $3.1T in January to $1.61T in July, before briefly recovering to $2.3T in September. $USDT continues to dominate trading activity, followed by $USDC. For the broader crypto market, this slowdown is worth watching. Lower stablecoin trading volume may signal weaker trading activity and reduced capital turnover across exchanges. However, trading volume alone doesn't tell us whether capital is entering or leaving the market. At @TriremeTrading, we look beyond volume to understand liquidity depth, trading efficiency, and how capital moves across markets. The question is: Will stablecoin trading activity recover heading into 2027?

Think of the next big opportunity to get in ai, robotics or biotech before its company ever goes public. >it’s 2030. >ai usage is at its peak and everyone wants a piece of the ai companies. What if you no longer need insider info to get in on these companies ? what if you didn’t have to wait for an ipo to get exposure to some of these private giants? that’s the market @OndoPerps is starting to open up. It’s already happening and the first name to watch is openai. ondo perps now offers two ways to access openai exposure onchain. first, there’s $OPAIPON it’s a note linked to one share of openai common stock. you can buy it on the spot market and hold it while waiting for a qualifying liquidity event. then there’s the new openai pre-ipo perp. think openai’s will cook the hell out of its competitors ? go long. think Elon will get the last laugh on open ai ? go short. you get up to 3x leverage, with hourly funding and liquidation risk. but openai could just be the beginning. @OndoPerps has outlined plans to expand into private companies across other sectors, including: >robotics > cybersecurity >biotech > infrastructure >defense > energy >space imagine more ways to access exposure to companies across these industries before they reach public markets, through products built for onchain trading. that’s the bigger vision for onchain finance . not just ai. not just one company. a growing range of private company exposure, with new ways to trade it onchain. for now, openai is the starting point. the other sectors are part of the roadmap. would you rather hold $OPAIPON while waiting for a qualifying liquidity event, or trade openai’s price with a perp? Which ever it is you can get started here : app.ondoperps.xyz/?ref=74MC9… Based.

A successful TGE takes more than just listing a token. Liquidity planning, DEX pool optimization, market making, exchange execution, and post-launch monitoring all play a critical role. At @triremetrading, we've supported over 300 token launches. Here's what we'd focus on as your market maker before, during, and after TGE.

Over 7.2 million $INJ has been burned to date 🔥 Every month, Injective revenue flows into the Community BuyBack. INJ is burned and users earn a share of revenue & onchain stocks. More usage → More revenue → More INJ burned → More rewards. This is the INJ Revenue Flywheel.

Injective's onchain revenue growth is accelerating, putting it ahead of many major blockchains in the space. All of this revenue is used to buy back and burn $INJ every month. With RWAs scaling and new Injective product launches on the way, this revenue is only set to rise.

A token can have $5M in liquidity and still offer worse execution than one with $500K. The difference is liquidity quality, not just quantity. What matters is where liquidity sits, how actively it's managed, and whether real trading demand supports it. Deep liquidity means little if traders can't execute efficiently. If traders still face high slippage and poor execution, what's the point of having millions in liquidity?
Long-term liquidity comes from real demand, healthy market depth, and efficient capital allocation. Projects need to focus on sustainable trading activity, tight spreads, and reducing slippage across CEX and DEX, not just adding more liquidity. For example, a project can have $1M in liquidity but still suffer high slippage if most of it sits outside active trading ranges. Long-term liquidity needs 3 things: 1. Active liquidity positioned near market price. 2. Consistent buy/sell demand from real users. 3. Professional inventory and spread management across DEX and CEX. It's about liquidity quality, not just TVL. We've seen this become especially important for growing token ecosystems at Trireme. Happy to share a few practical strategies if you're exploring this for your project. DM us to learn more! @triremetrading

A bridge usually checks where funds arrived. @Americanfort_io’s new ZKPoSP research asks an additional question: can the destination wallet prove it shares the depositor’s hidden seed? The proposed proof links wallets across different derivation systems, including Bitcoin’s secp256k1 and Solana’s Ed25519, without revealing the seed. A bridge using the method could require that proof before releasing funds to the destination address an attempt to prevent address substitution while keeping wallet identity private. The numbers in the announcement are worth separating: AmericanFortress reports about 6.65 seconds to generate a full path proof and 475 milliseconds to verify it; the proof is 9.66 MB. The sub second figure refers to verifying the cross chain link, according to the project. This is research published as IACR ePrint 2026/1508, a preprint not evidence that bridges have deployed the system or that every implementation is secure. The practical test will be whether bridge operators adopt it and whether proof generation and size work in real user flows. For a bridge, which is the bigger hurdle: generating the proof or handling its size? #AmericanFortress #FortressName americanfortress.io names.americanfortress.io The Paid Partnership label is used for transparency. the next phase of tokenization may be less about putting assets onchain and more about making them useful as financial collateral when institutions test tokenized treasuries for faster financing and settlement, the real opportunity extends beyond ownership records it is about reducing friction between trading, liquidity and capital deployment the winners may be the systems that make tokenized assets easier to use across financial markets, not simply the ones that issue more of them

Congrats to the @OrderlyNetwork team on introducing Crumple! Interesting approach to tackling price manipulation through cross-exchange liquidity and automated pool hedging. A good reminder of why market structure and execution infrastructure matter as onchain trading continues to evolve. Looking forward to seeing how this develops.
Someone made $1.28M off @papertrade_xyz in 8 hours. They didn't predict the price. They moved it. We mocked up how you'd build it on Orderly instead, where moving one exchange isn't enough and the pool hedges itself. Meet Crumple ↓

BITCOIN MARKET STRUCTURE: SELLING PRESSURE VS. ONCHAIN CAPITAL bitcoin:native is trading just below $83K after a mid-week pullback. Four indicators help explain the current setup: • Realized Cap Change: +1.23 • Options Delta Skew: +4.46 • Weekly ETF Netflow: −$701.57M • Perpetual CVD: −$681.80M ETF outflows and aggressive perpetual selling point to short-term pressure, while realized capitalization continues to show a positive capital-flow signal. The key question is whether continued onchain capital inflows can absorb selling pressure from derivatives and ETFs. For now, Bitcoin's market structure remains mixed rather than decisively bullish or bearish.

there is something @BoredApeYC has understood better than most nft projects 🍌 the strongest communities do not survive because the floor stays high they survive because the identity stays relevant with ApeFest running october 15–18 in Charleston, side events all weekend and the main night at Beeple Studios on the 17th, and the community still organizing builders, creators and regional ape groups around the ecosystem, #BAYC has become something larger than a 10k collection that is the part i find most interesting about apecoin:native the real asset is not just the token or the jpeg it is the network of people who keep giving the brand a reason to exist that kind of cultural liquidity is much harder to measure than market cap

stablecoins are starting to compete on distribution rather than just supply @okx just launched okx money, letting users convert more than 50 local currencies into usdg, usdc or usdt eligible usdg balances can earn up to 10% apy without staking or lockups but the more important signal is the target market latin america, africa, south asia and the middle east stablecoins are increasingly being positioned as dollar savings accounts for people who may never care about crypto itself the next phase of adoption may come from users wanting dollars not users wanting crypto
