I've written a few articles over the years for the (fantastic) economic policy journal @MilkenReview -- on Fintech, crypto, and financial inclusion more broadly. But this is the first time I've made the cover! And for the issue of the @MilkenInstitute Global Conference! 1. The message obv. doesn't target normies. It targets the 50k+ ETHDenver participants like yourself arriving at Denver airport. You noticed the ad? Great. Mission accomplished.
2. The message is simple and clear. Algorand is ready for scale today and doesn't require 5 year plans to fix basic things like throughout, slow finality, etc etc. I challenge you to find anyone in the ETH ecosystem that doesn't understand what this means.
3. Of course, ETH maxis will be maxis and we won't convince them. But there are a lot of developers that just want to build great products and are frustrated with how things are going. The ad is for them. There is an alternative. Developing on Algorand is much faster because we don't fork, we have instant finality, we don't need smart contracts to create a token, we have built in atomic swaps, support native Python and Typescript, and on and on.

That is a block containing 21,954 transactions with a 100% success rate.
Allow me to paint the picture more clearly.
Note that many blockchains calculate their "theoretical" max TPS using the simplest form of transaction, a token transfer.
Algorand says it can handle 10,000 ~ 15,000 TPS. But not just a simple token transfer. 15,000 TPS of all types of transactions, including complex smart contract calls. Not theoretical. Just a proven fact.
