Free Wi-Fi is rarely free. The coffee-shop network has a name, and so does everyone else on it. Every request you send crosses a router you don't control, in a room full of strangers.

One app, two stores, zero accounts. CumulusVPN is live on the App Store (listing id6792741863) and on Google Play. Install, tap once, and the tunnel is up. Your traffic is your business.

A node can answer its pings and still be unhealthy, whether the trouble is on the host or in the database. FluxOS 8.22 is live. Nodes watch their own host and database, and a node in trouble steps aside on its own instead of serving your app on failing hardware. Single-writer apps hand over whole. App ports are proven over UDP.

A Wi-Fi password taped to the counter is honesty, not security: everyone who ever ordered a coffee has the same credential. The password was never the protection. The tunnel is. CumulusVPN, free forever at 100 KB/s.

What's the last network you joined that you didn't control? Airport, hotel, coffee shop — the router watched every site you opened and every app that phoned home. The barista knowing your order is different from the router knowing your traffic.

Privacy isn't a promise on a webpage. It's the path your data takes. In the tunnel, each packet travels as ciphertext: your ISP sees bytes bound for an exit, the website sees the exit's address. CumulusVPN wraps the packet.

FluxOS v8.22.0 is live, released 25 Oct. The part I'm happiest about is that game servers on the Flux Games hub are never CPU-throttled. A match server that slows down mid-round ruins the match, so we treat steady CPU as part of the product. App ports are proven over UDP as well as TCP now, which is what realtime apps want, since game state and voice don't sit well behind TCP retries. The rest is reliability work on database calls and host stalls. Deploying on @RunOnFlux got a little more predictable this month.

A VPN is a tunnel, not a bodyguard. It secures the path between your device and every network it joins. Passwords, patches and judgment stay your department. CumulusVPN runs the tunnel and says so.

How many networks does your phone join between breakfast and bed? Home, office, café, airport, hotel. Every handover means one more network watching the same traffic.

CumulusVPN apps are live on the App Store and Google Play. Find them at cumulusvpn.com. No account, no email: your key is generated on the device. Desktop for macOS, Windows and Linux is "Soon" on the site. The phone is the device that leaves the house.

A privacy policy is a promise. Architecture is a guarantee. CumulusVPN keeps no accounts, no email, no user database: your device generates the key, and only its public half ever leaves it. Exits are independent @RunOnFlux nodes. We can't hand over what we never held.

The best privacy tooling has the personality of a smoke detector: silent, unglamorous, installed once. If anything beeps at 3 a.m., it should be the smoke detector.

Every default on a new device is someone else's decision. Ad tracking, telemetry, personalized ads: which do you turn off first? Defaults are a business model. Change them anyway.

Schwab and JPMorgan now block AI agents acting on customers' behalf. They're right that an agent holding your password is you until proven otherwise. Consent is a feature, not a promise. CumulusVPN has no passwords to delegate — your key never leaves the device.

Static pages dont need accounts. Drop in the @RunOnFlux apps hub: drag an HTML file, a zip or a whole folder and you get a live link without signup or a wallet gate. The web works best when it asks for nothing.

"But it's their real account." Yes, and it can still be a scam. Hijacked accounts push fake airdrops, 'urgent migrations' and security alerts to followers who trust them. The account is real. The post isn't. How to spot one before you act 👇 sspwallet.io/en/academy/secu…

Every new thing you host is another door facing the internet. This week @RunOnFlux alone shipped a no-account static host, 28 game-server titles, and clustered databases. CumulusVPN is the encrypted road to your own admin panels: public stays public, the guts stay yours.

Two of America's largest banks now block AI agents from acting for customers. "Who is asking?" is the question at every door. Your traffic answers it unprompted: IP, network, location. CumulusVPN makes it a choice: an encrypted tunnel and an exit you pick.
