- Near-instant boot
- Over-the-air updates that require only one restart
- No data collection (unlike Windows/macOS/Linux)

The OS architect is @TristenACole (systems engineer, BS in Math & Computer Science from West Texas A&M). Founder/CEO of Xeris Technologies is @ZacharyWinkle.
Xeris has built their blockchain, OS, and AI model in-house over the span of about 1.5 year.
The software (XerisOS) has been created with the aim of running their proprietary LLM, Ari, and their own blockchain node safely and secure from this device.
ARI, the sovereign/on-device AI assistant (custom model trained from scratch), runs locally via “Xeris Inference Engine, INT4”, so prompts stay on-device.
Full Xeris L1 node (their triple-consensus blockchain: PoW + PoS + PoH, post-quantum signatures, ZK-proofs, etc.). Keys are generated on the device.
This is part of Xeris Technologies’ broader “Web4” effort around their patent-pending Layer-1 blockchain (testnet live, CertiK-audit at 95%, mainnet pending) and sovereign AI.
