The coaches will always know more than the fans, so I’m being cautious here. With that being said, based off what we saw tonight, it seems Moberly gives you a higher ceiling and honestly he fits this offense better.
Moberly fits the designed runs better, and his quick release and conviction in throwing the ball makes him the better option imo, especially in a pro style offense. Not to mention these reps for Moberly will help you for next year.
Silver lining here: you were never supposed to win this game. If this coaching staff can completely turn this around and give us a shot to pick off Oklahoma state is to be determined, but after that the schedule eases up and you’ll still have a decent shot to make a bowl.
I’ve been pro-Raynor this whole season, but this is the time for Moberly to come in. Combine that last play plus the score of this game and the situation, you gotta put Moberly in for the rest of this game
