why I wanted this game on aztec: dark forest proved that hidden information is what makes onchain games actually fun. but it had to fight its chain to do it, bolting zk proofs onto a transparent world.
aztec makes hidden state native. what took advanced zk circuits to do is now possible in smart contract code.
games like this are the best stress test of programmable privacy there is, if it can handle a universe of secret moves it can handle your payroll. massive respect to @dfarchon for building it
