Warm, dry and windy conditions, especially across Western Colorado = fire weather danger. Be extreme careful to avoid setting off sparks that could trigger a wildfire. readyforwildfire.org/prevent…

Make it your goal to extinguish hot coals. If your campfire is to hot to touch, it's too hot to leave! Drown, stir and repeat until cold! Campfire Safety #PreventWildfires #SouthwestWildfireAwarenessWeek #SmokeyBear

☀Summer is upon us, which usually means the arrival of consistent triple-digit temperatures. Leaving children and dogs in hot vehicles for even short amounts of time can be deadly. #LookBeforeYouLock #HeatSafety

EXCESSIVE HEAT! A prolonged heat wave starts this weekend and continues next week. Heat is Arizona's deadliest weather hazard (and it isn't even close). Limit time outdoors to the coolest hours of the day and stay hydrated! #azwx

💥 If your #NYE celebration at home includes sparklers or fireworks, please be careful! Never use illegal fireworks & always have adult supervision. Let's start 2021 with a bang, not a bad night in the hospital!
