Do you know what the hardest part of need is? It's waking up every day knowing you have to provide for needs you can't afford, waiting for help you don't know when it will arrive, while time waits for no one.
Donations have almost stopped, and appeals go unanswered, but my father is still unable to move, his needs are endless, and we, as a family, are exhausted by helplessness and waiting.
It's painful to have to explain your suffering every day, to ask for help when you wish you didn't have to in the first place.
We don't want to get used to pleading for help, nor do we want hunger and helplessness to become a normal part of our lives.

Four years of brutal warโฆ I lost my brother, my child, my home, and my livelihood. All I have left are my children, whom I struggle to keep alive day by day.
We have been displaced more than 13 times, and today we live in a tattered tent that is unfit for human dignity, amidst harsh living and financial conditions that are beyond our ability to endure.
I am a mother of eight children, and our family consists of ten members. Three of my children constantly need milk and diapers, and their basic needs cannot be postponed.
We need $500 a week to provide food, milk, diapers, and the most basic necessities for our family.
I am tired of appealing for help, of writing posts, sharing messages, and quoting others, and of waiting without response. I don't know what more a mother can do than explain her pain and plead with the world to extend a helping hand to her children.
Eight children are waiting for relief, and a mother no longer has the luxury of giving up. ๐
