TLDR: Here’s a bunch of lies and excuses why I’m a stiff, and too broke to pay the bet I lost.

If you make a 8-9 leg SGP on one game, you're not allowed to complain when you fall 1 leg short Let's skip the discussion about correlation nerfing your odds deep into the -EV category on certain books (cough* FD) But let's dive deeper into the fact that these SGPs are full of legs that are overtly -EV as well. You can compound your Expected Value by taking multiple EV legs, sure. But the vast majority are taking the -200, -300 types of builders cause they're "safer" Yeah sure 7+ Keon receptions is amazing EV at +1300 Bally vs +680 FD but you never see that leg included. No, you see the 3+ rec instead at -186 Bally compared to -180 Fanduel instead There is no such thing as a safe leg, -200 Bijan didn't hit, -420 Oregon didn't hit, -340 LSU didn't hit Gathering 90% hit rate legs just to get a bigger payout is already a losing game to begin with. The price you're sacrificing is so often overlooked these days

Assuming there’s nothing being left out of the story, what a win-win for all of us. Either @JoeA_NFL stiffs the $8k and has to leave this place forever, or he pays the $8k and we always get to mention how he tried to stiff and only paid when called out.

I can't even grasp how +EV this is
He won't play the full 90 minutes. He might even be subbed during the first half if he scores a goal. This is probably the most EV+ odds Ive seen in a while.

If you are betting 1k a game of $5000 bankroll, chance of going bust within first 100 bets is like 50%, even if you have a true 5% ROI. This is horrible approach and this guy is an idiot.

Breaking: the big tax bill with a provision to repeal the 90% cap on gambling losses was just overwhelmingly voted through, with bipartisan support, to the House Rules Committee. It’s a technical step before it goes to the House floor for a full vote.
The 90% cap on gambling losses would be repealed retroactive to 1/1/26 as part of the Ways & Means tax bill. Joint Committee on Taxation estimates a negative impact on revenue of $2 billion from ‘27-36 from this repeal. The ‘27-34 estimate is $1.5 billion, up 33% from its $1.1 billion estimate during same period. Wonder if this means estimated tax payments from gamblers were higher than anticipated?

I work in sportsbook operations, if you continuously get CLV on your bets, you’ll get noticed, if you don’t, you won’t. I’ve seen guys beating us for a -20% book margin in a month have limits raised because of wagering habits. Very few on this app understand how it works.

You don’t have an edge and masquerade as someone with one to grift money from morons. It’s that simple. You obviously won’t publicly say that but that’s anyone with a pulses issue with you
