[News] ⚠️🚨🎢 €6 BILLION for 3 new theme parks near Paris: The full story!! ➡️ An unprecedented new theme park resort is set to reshape the European market near Paris, potentially creating a new competitor for #DisneylandParis. 1️⃣ Origins date back to 2017, with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy & theme parks at Qiddiya, near Riyadh. ➖ 3parks were announced: Six Flags Qiddiya in 2017 (opened Dec 31, 2025); Aquarabia in 2022 (opened Apr 16, 2026); & a Dragon Ball theme park in 2024. 2️⃣ During the French President visit to Saudi Arabia in Dec 2024, the scale of Qiddiya project, including the recently announced Manga park was presented. Macron & MBS reportedly discovered a “shared passion for Dragon Ball”. ➖ Macron raised the possibility of developing a similar project in France, while MBS was looking to expand Saudi investment in Europe! ➖ The project entered a confidential phase, with around 18months of discussions involving both, the Élysée & Saudi government. 3️⃣ By the end of July 2026, reports emerged that 🇫🇷 & 🇸🇦 were preparing an agreement, comparable to the original investment behind DLP! ➖ The contract was expected to be signed during MBS’s visit to Paris for the Esports World Cup. 4️⃣ On August 24, 2026, Macron & MBS announced an agreement with Qiddiya Investment Company, backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Fund, for the development of 3 new theme parks in Cergy-Pontoise, on the former Mirapolis site. ➖ The investment reaches €6 billion, with up to 22000 direct jobs projected! ➖ Described by Macron as “unprecedented since DLP.” 5️⃣ The 1st park will focus on the manga universe, with Dragon Ball at its center. The themes of the 2 other parks remain undisclosed. ➖ Hotels, dining & other resort facilities are also expected as part of “Qiddiya France Resort”, scope not confirmed. 6️⃣ The site is already connected to A15 motorway, but the contract might include improved transport infrastructure, potentially involving a tramway network. ➡️ With DLP, Parc Astérix & now a potential 3-park resort, the Paris region could enter a new era for the European theme park industry, with new level of competition! 👀📝 What will Disneyland Paris’ response be?

[News] ⚠️🚧 Update on the Mark Twain riverboat! ➡️ Stored since July 2011, the Mark Twain has been laid up in dry dock after briefly operating solo cruises during the refurbishment of the Molly Brown: ➖ Its condition has significantly deteriorated over time due to a lack of maintenance. ➡️ In April 2019, #DisneylandParis announced a full rehabilitation project, with a return initially planned for 2020: ➖ This project was later cancelled (likely permanently). ➖ In May 2025, all remaining references to the Mark Twain were removed from the official websites…

[News] 🚨⚠️ No Parade… but multiple Happenings across Disney Adventure World!! ✅ Instead of a traditional parade, the park will feature, for now, several daily activations spread across the expansion: ➡️ Parade Route? ➖ The Disney Marching Band led by Minnie Mouse with 12 musicians. ➡️ World of Frozen: ➖ Royal Encounter inside Arendelle Castle with Anna & Elsa, after walking through the newly completed Portrait Gallery ➖ A Celebration in Arendelle 15min show ➖ Olaf and Kristoff or Oaken Meet&Greet ➡️ Adventure Bay: ➖ Mickey & Minnie meet-and-greets under the lakeside pavilion, wearing new Victorian outfits ➖ More characters will join the shoreline after opening ➡️ Adventure Way: ➖Tangled Garden = seasonal musical experience with Flynn & Rapunzel ➖ Gazebo Garden = Mary Poppins or Miguel musical entertainments! ➡️ Avengers Campus, World Premiere plaza & Worlds of Pixar: ➖ Probably a standard schedule, but a festive feel across the entire Park, especially with the arrival of the Disney Music Festival! ➡️ #DisneyAdventureWorld won’t feature a parade for the moment, but with these multi-zone happenings, the park will finally be “alive”: with characters, music and atmosphere all day long. 💬 Are there plans for the park to celebrate the Christmas or Halloween seasons? #DisneylandParis
