The Cheesecake Factory stuff is a really good encapsulation of conservative discourse during the Obama era for folks not old enough to have experienced it. Endless whining and mind-loss over something they wouldn’t even notice if someone else said it. Eight years of that!

Russia can just stop. The war ends when they stop.
If you give every aggressor nation first movers advantage and they get to keep territory for the sake of “conscripts” you will only incentivize more wars with “conscripts”.

The endless slaughter of Ukrainian and Russians must stop.
We should some sympathy for the poor Russian conscripts too. Those kids have no choice but to fight and die in drone strikes.

When considering Elon's claim, keep in mind besides all his other confirmed lies, this man paid a guy to play a video game for him so he could claim he was one of the top players.
Elon has a problem here. He now claims Ukraine violated Starlink’s terms of service, and, implicitly, Elon throttled their Starlink connection. But several days ago, I thought Elon said he didn’t throttle Ukraine’s Starlink. He said only the president has the ability to do that. So this clearly wasn’t the reason that Ukraine was throttled 10 days ago, or Elon would have said so then. In fact, Elon appeared to deny all responsibility. So what was Elon’s reason? I guess my point is, he appeared to not be telling the full story then, so why should we believe him now?

Elon Musk is backing the wrong horse and is killing his own legacy. No one will remember anything good Musk did, all they will remember is that he chose Fascism over Freedom when it mattered the most.
