He would rather during winter, the kids come home from school in the dark instead of go to school in the dark.
No one likes changing the clock, me included, but Congress has enacted permanent Daylight Savings Time multiple times before and repealed it each time once Americans experienced absurdly late sunrises in the winter. Arkansans don’t want their kids going to school in the pitch dark, and I’ll always put Arkansas first.

We did plenty of interior enforcement, and as @TerryMoran said, we did it without masked gangs, snatching citizens from their cars, disappearing people, and storming homes without warrants.
There were certainly mistakes and overreach, but this is different. It's not law enforcement, it's state-sanctioned violence and repression.
