🚨Neighbor Charged With Capital Murder After Shooting Woman on Her Porch in Dothan
A 39-year-old woman was fatally shot while sitting on her back porch, and her neighbor has been charged with capital murder.
Dothan police identified the victim as Brittney Henderson. According to the preliminary investigation, she was on her porch when 22-year-old neighbor Vincent Phillips approached her. After a brief interaction, Phillips fired one round that killed her, then left the scene. Police said Phillips only knew Henderson as a neighbor.
The shooting occurred in the East Spring Avenue neighborhood on a Tuesday afternoon. A shelter-in-place warning was briefly issued before officers arrested Phillips about two miles away without incident. He faces one count of capital murder, which can carry the death penalty. Investigators said the probe remains ongoing as they work to determine a motive.

29 months later, feds step in and charge drug dealer with giving deceased victim a lethal dose of fentanyl.
Anthony Winslow, 44, drove John Hargreaves, 20, to a Washington DC fire station, in May of 2024, and claimed he overdosed on prescription painkillers. Hargreaves was already dead.
Former TV judge, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, has now federally charged Winslow with unlawful distribution of fentanyl resulting in death. If prosecuted, he faces a twenty-year minimum.

ALERT: Florida postal worker arrested after allegedly being caught on camera stealing iPhones and an expensive ring from packages.
A U.S. Postal Inspection Service special agent installed surveillance cameras inside a USPS company truck and caught Avery Terrill Yarber opening and stealing from 4 separate packages.
The cameras, one in the driver's area and one in the back of the truck, caught Yarber stealing 3 iPhones and a valuable ring from both areas.
Investigators estimate the 3 phones and the ring are valued at $6,597.
Yarber faces charges of third-degree grand theft and a count of mail theft.

A bloody pair of hands, a mysterious bag and a claim that could shed new light on the O.J. Simpson murder case more than 30 years later.
Newly unsealed federal records reportedly reveal allegations that mob-connected associate Joseph "Joey" Ippolito helped Simpson dispose of the murder weapon on the night Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were killed.
Ippolito's brother claims he returned to a Los Angeles apartment that night with blood on his hands and a bag containing something heavy, which he later tossed into a dumpster.
But there's a twist: The brother's credibility is now under scrutiny after he reportedly sought payment and attempted to retract his account.
The murder weapon was never recovered, and the LAPD says the case remains open.
