Why coach? Why give up your summers to an AAU program? Why be a GM to the oldest AAU program in Nebraska?
This is why!!! Watching a kid from home come out of the shell and realize… instagram.com/p/BzmwNrJBOOgh…

Always a blessing to need to turn on the lights and see the hoodies and gloves come out at football practice.

It was pretty awesome to be in Allen Field House, one of the most iconic venues in college basketball, and hear the staring lineup from the PA say “from Malcolm, Nebraska…”
Dang good first game @HalleDolliver! Keep working, great things will come.

Focusing on 1 sport is just complete bologna. If you hear this…find a new school!
Dear young athletes- keep this photo saved to your phone and show the next person who says you have to focus on one sport in HS.
The amount of kids I’ve heard say “I can’t risk getting hurt” or “my coach won’t let me” drives me crazy.
You get one shot to be a HS athlete.

This kid is impressive.
He can squat 400lb & has serious explosive power.
But the best thing about Gregg?
He’s consistent, he works hard, and he likes to fish.
Hard to not root for kids with those tangibles 🎣
Proud of you man, keep getting after it 🦾

Get 2030 Malcolm (Neb.) RB Gregg Smith on your radar, looked well ahead of schedule for his age when I saw the Clippers early this fall
Already stands 6’1, 190lbs

With the start of the basketball season on the horizon, it is important for high school student-athletes (and just as importantly parents) to understand how basketball season presents some unique dynamics compared to several other high school sports. Understanding these dynamics (and acknowledging how these dynamics present challenges for all involved) is important and can better foster positive relationships between student-athletes (and parents) and coaches in the hopes of having a rewarding and successful season.

Gregg Smith’s 104 yards on 13 carries in Malcolm’s 49-25 win over defending C-2 champion Wahoo Neumann elevated him over the 1000 Yard Rushing mark, making him just the 14th FRESHMAN in history to reach that status and just the FIFTH 11-Man back to ever hit the mark. BALLER!

Malcolm’s Ethan Hardin recently tore his ACL and underwent surgery.
His teammate Gerrit DeWaard made sure he was included in everything after their playoff win. 🥹👏
Walking out at the start of the 4th quarter they said, “Rule has 8 carries for 64 yards.”
In like 2nd grade I learned 8x8 fell on the floor…. And in 3rd I learned it takes 10 yards to get a 1st down, and in 5th I learned 5+ yards per rush is good.
Why in the hell don’t we like positive results….
