Background checks are required for nearly every job in America. Not for Congress. That’s INSANE.
I introduced H.Res. 500 to hold the House to the same basic standard as every other workplace. If you're trusted to work in Congress, a background check should be the bare minimum.
Call your representative. Tell them to cosponsor H.Res. 500. Demand background checks for House staff.
