Not a bullish day for AI related stocks. I’m sure people are trying to bottom fish but these names have a lot more work to do to prove themselves. Could still see them plunging again soon.
Tough market conditions, so you need to be selling into strength and cutting those that cannot hold up.
A few weeks ago only OKTA, AMD and MRNA were working and now many of my selections are soaring from their buy area.
A fantastic move for AMD from the 50-day line last week. OKTA continues to lead the software move and many other stocks are now working.
Days like this are exactly why you can never leave the market. Many worn out and tired traders won't be back until late in the move.
The market has had every excuse possible to sell down with rates at a 19 year high and oil prices over $100 a barrel, yet even during the worst seasonal period of the year it has broken out of its trading range. Very good news for last week's technical buys.
It's good to be back in stocks with a few select names after stepping aside when SanDisk (SNDK) topped out in June.
Tough trading conditions but for those that picked up the SOXL long noted yesterday morning, this is an excellent move today.
