Really honored that @RobVaughnNews featured "The Search for a Rational Faith" in a Substack post on Christian apologetics today. He called it "an extraordinary new work." Thank you for your extraordinarily kind words, Rob! robvaughnnews.substack.com/p…?

Grateful to @thedispatch for giving me the opportunity to write about how the southernization of American Christianity has changed both evangelicalism and politics in the US.

I've enjoyed writing some recent book reviews for @mereorthodoxy on atheists' intellectual journeys to theism or Christian faith. Here's the latest one, which is on Christopher Beha's new book: mereorthodoxy.substack.com/p…

I really appreciate these kind words from @Daniel_Bare about American and America's Churches.
Highly recommended—one of the best books I’ve read recently. @DanielKWilliam4 is remarkably evenhanded & treats all sides seriously. I’ve thought for some time that we need a succinct religious history of the abortion debate, & this is 100% the book I was waiting for. Get a copy.

In ABORTION AND AMERICA'S CHURCHES, @DanielKWilliam4 overthrows all assumptions about the unity, consistency, or simplicity of #American #Christian thought on #Abortion. This book is a #History finalist in the 2025 Foreword INDIES Awards! bit.ly/3YTsHCZ

I'm looking for a professional indexer for a second edition of God's Own Party, which OUP will release in a few months. (There will be a new chapter on Christian politics in the Trump era). Any recommendations for professional indexers who could create a book index before May 4?

There's a larger denominational context behind James Talarico's progressive, pro-choice brand of Christianity - and to understand it, we have to understand what's happened to mainline Protestantism in the last 20 years. I explore that story here: danielkwilliams.substack.com…

The term "evangelical" is widely used by academics, but increasingly fewer Christians are using it to describe themselves. Here's my take on the term's disappearance: danielkwilliams.substack.com…
