People need to get comfortable with fully acknowledging that Andy Burnham is dishonest and a liar. Disgraceful to just act like this and pretend that it’s ok.
Whether you are happy or not that the Prime Minister is opening up the Brexit debate again, there are two things we know for certain. 1. He lied about not opening up the Brexit debate again. 2. He wouldn't be the PM right now, if he hadn't lied about it.

The AfD doesn't need to do anything It has changed the political weather in Germany making more EU is now impossible Throw in a broken economy which means Germany can't and won't pay and.... Kaput
The surging Alternative for Germany (AfD) wants to destroy the EU if Alice Weidel, its leader, replaces the deeply unpopular Friedrich Merz as chancellor. Our Europe Editor, James Crisp, reports the latest, asking whether Germany could be the next country to leave the EU and exploring the enormous consequences that could follow if this were to occur ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2…

You can hope all you want Jezza
“I hope we see some really bold reforms that get us out of this low growth trap that is causing so many people to be desperately worried about their future.” The UK needs "bold reforms" in the budget to save youth jobs, says Jeremy Hunt. @adamboultonTABB | @Jeremy_Hunt

We can rerun 2016 says Raynor as Labour do exactly that
On the BBC, Laura Kuenssberg showed Housing Secretary Angela Rayner a clip from a few months ago of the Prime Minister saying 'the last thing we should do right now is rerun those [Brexit] arguments', and asked why he was now doing exactly that. Rayner denied the Prime Minister had reversed his decision, and claimed that ten years on from the referendum, with exports down 20 per cent, the government wanted an 'honest conversation' about Britain's relationship with Europe. Kuenssberg pointed out that freedom of movement was at the heart of the Brexit debate, and noted that Labour's 2024 manifesto ruled out a return to freedom of movement. ✍️ Joe Bedell-Brill Article | spectator.com/article/angela…

So the SoS again rewarded threats of violence So that means next time they'll do it again All whilst the unionists are learning that threats get you what you want
Police chiefs feared any potential dissident gun attack on the Garvaghy Road would have involved old Provisional IRA weaponry, plunging the political process into crisis. Read more: tinyurl.com/2aus3mfy

Put the woke outrage over Kemi being called a scammer in the context of her own comments about identity: What would Ben say if a white Englishman said they identify not as British but with their "specific ethnicity," and didn't want to be "lumped in" with their "ethnic enemies"?
Replying to @JackBMontgomery
Hi Jack, I notice that you left “Nigerian” out when you referred to Kemi as a scammer. Is that because you know it’s racist and don’t want to repeat it? Otherwise, why leave out the part that makes it racist?

Yep total collapse on standards But again it's also a function of the destruction of the councils by the Conservatives and then Labour
York cobblestones. 2006 vs 2026. Well maintained in 2006. Can’t be arsed to maintain properly and just plaster with tarmac patches in 2026. British civic pride decay in a nutshell.

Historically hair was kept short for hygiene reasons in the field However with women entering the services that's no longer true
British Army regulation states that: "Male hair is to be cut short such that its length does not reach to the collar or onto the ears." It appears they can bend the rules for certain groups of people now.

🚨 BREAKING: Former Tory candidate who was suspended over contract killer claims worked in Kemi Badenoch’s office as a consultant. • Jack Ross, a former Conservative local election candidate, has had his party membership suspended with immediate effect pending an investigation. • He was filmed by an undercover reporter for an Al Jazeera documentary apparently discussing the cost of hiring people to carry out violent acts, including asking “What do you want done?” and listing options that could be arranged for money. • Police in Scotland say they will review the documentary for any potential criminality. • It has emerged that Ross worked in 2025 as a junior social media consultant in the office of Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch, which can draw on taxpayer funds. Sources close to her confirmed the external contract role. • Ross has denied the allegations, saying his remarks were not meant to be taken seriously.

So nothing on PIP And nothing on actually forcing the long term feckless back into work Nope this
“In a crackdown on benefit fraud, John Healey will announce in the Budget next week plans to deploy 2,000 anti-fraud specialists to job centres throughout the country.” Suddenly, we have 2000 anti-fraud specialists immediately available?? 🤡 telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/10…

This is just moronic. To protect our own refineries (which we should have done ages ago) we just need to remove carbon taxes on our own refineries. Not add extra costs that will come through as higher prices for everyone. And while we’re at it also reduce fuel duties to really get prices lower.
John Healey is considering imposing a ‘carbon charge’ on imported fuel like petrol and diesel in the Budget. The Labour government are a bunch of economic illiterates. All that this will do is increase further costs for the British motorist during a cost of living crisis.
