Nail on head.
Everton’s problems go far beyond Moyes In or Out. Being a traditionally big club isn’t enough anymore. Success starts off the pitch: smart, sustainable recruitment, clear footballing strategy & strong leadership. The manager matters, but the structure around them matters more.

Today isnt the benchmark They are one of the best sides in Europe with a billion pound squad We're not competing with that The next 3 games will tell us a lot of what we can expect for the rest of the season – at Arrecife, Spain

David Moyes in game management might be frustrating but let’s face it , he’s been thrown under the bus by the Incompetents running the club and the Gobshites who own the club. 16 outfield players and we are in October.

Exactly. Moyes can’t win. The club and squad are a complete shit show but it’s all Moyes’ fault in some people’s eyes!
“Fuck off Moyes, Maitland-Niles has been garbage he needs dropping” “Fuck off Moyes, O’Brien is a centre half, fucking play him there” “Fuck off Moyes, Rohl isn’t a right back” All our RB options, and whoever Moyes picks my timeline starts moaning at him. 🤯

Delusional. With our squad and injuries, what could Moyes have done differently to get a result today? No matter what he did, we were losing today. No manager in history would get a result away at the Champions with that squad!!
You get your rewards when you play to win games

Everton is the impossible job for any manager. We’ve got a bottom 8 squad. We’ve lost 2 games against Chelsea and Arsenal, and there are fans out there calling for the manager’s head! Honestly!!

📢 Flag display v Newcastle 📢 Before our Carabao Cup game v Newcastle United we will be doing a flag display. We are pleased that the owners are wanting to sell the club, which will hopefully allow us to progress on the pitch & match our fans ambitions in the future with more investment from new owners. With the pending sale of our club, being united as fans along with our players and management is massively important to help the team in these uncertain times. It’s been far too long since our club won silverware and as time goes on each cup game feels even more important. We would love to help push the lads a step closer and into, potentially our first cup quarter final at our new home. Let’s bring our voices from the off & make it a loud one under the lights. UP THE TOFFEES 🔵⚪️🟡

Some Man City fans have become intolerable. What happened to that humble fanbase with a dry sense of humour?

Not a good performance. Whole midfield well off it and nothing up front. But we are one of only 5 unbeaten teams in the Prem. #EFC #Everton

Crazy thing is if Foden had just rolled around in mock agony (like Fernandes) rather than react like he did then Fernandes would have been sent off.

Tyler Dibling will probably play on Wednesday. He has to take his chance. Career stats so far: Southampton: 44 games 4 goals 3 assists 8 yellow cards Everton: 18 games 0 goals 0 assists 2 yellow cards Must do better. Gets more yellow cards than goals or assists! #Everton

Without a great striker up front and no real alternative, we’re still unbeaten. And Johnson and KDH could have won that for us yesterday. In Moyes we trust. Good solid start to the season. Team spirit and defence very good 👏 #EFC #Everton

Today is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay and I’ve been up in Liverpool hosting a panel at the ON YOUR SIDE launch with The Royal Foundation. I also spoke to Gary Speed’s mum - Carol. It’s nearly 15 years since Gary took his own life. I loved talking to her but she also broke my heart. Also… hugs are good ❤️

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day. With that in mind, I wanted to remind you of this video produced by Norwich City; it remains one of the most profound things I've ever seen produced on the subject.
