Want to take a minute and congratulate a team I covered for three years, @CC_LadyRed. I watched them fall one win short of the state tournament last year. This year they finally broke through and made it to Murfreesboro, then finished at an even 2-2. Nice job, ladies. @DannyHartsell1

The best thing to learn as an athlete is to take criticism. It’s a privilege to be coached. It says the coach believes in you and what you can grow into. Don’t take it as an insult when they try to change something, thats the greatest compliment. Show them you can be coachable.

The @CC_LadyRed don’t shy away from sharing their goals for next month.
The last few seasons, Cocke County Softball has been trending hard toward a state tournament appearance.
And the players know it — and want it.
