This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldn’t have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didn’t. He doesn’t stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC

I think it’s about more than the red. Arteta probably saw this as Max’s tournament - it was likely a big part of the club’s plan to develop him this season and I’d imagine Max had been told that.

My attempt at discussing what has driven violent riots & wanton destruction in France (not without interruption). I was also reacting to unhelpfully labelling Kemi Badenoch's mention of challenges of migration y'day, as a Trump-like dog whistle #PoliticsLive

UAE bots are out in force, spreading their false narratives.
The terrible financial state of English clubs is nothing to do with a “red cartel”. It’s because non-commercial clubs like Man City / Chelsea artificially inflated the market and the rules are too crap to address it.

Just thinking about the Palace game, lifting the trophy, and knowing, how winning it was done the right way.

Gabriel drags Ballard down in Sunderland’s penalty box and Arsenal get a penalty for it.
What do you reckon the reaction is then? I think X goes fucking ballistic with brainwashed people saying how right they were about Arsenal cheating. I think you’d be one of them.

Arsenal have pushed the limits of physicality in set pieces. They do that on purpose and they escaped penalisation because they did it well (i.e. with mind paid to those limits).
Watch your team. Watch everyone else. They do it too. A lot. We’re just better at it.

Arsenal are officiated so differently to the rest of the league, no one else gets the decisions they do. Am I doing this right?

I live in a weird universe where Arsenal rightly beat a worse team. Morgan Rogers tried to con the ref and made himself look silly. Cole Palmer escaped a booking and so did Declan Rice. Chelsea fans are crying. It’s nice here. Video footage doesn’t conflict with my reality.

One of the biggest ways to know a team is currently on a dynasty-defining run is when people start making referee conspiracies.
Ladies and gentleman, the Mikel Arteta era is here. Sit back and enjoy.
