Elon: it's time to come home to Mother Russia.
😁 Putin's chief propagandist urges Musk to flee to Russia Vladimir Solovyov expressed sympathy for the billionaire. According to the propagandist, @elonmusk was the biggest loser in the elections, having lost hundreds of millions of dollars. But that's not all. Solovyov fears that Musk could face all sorts of investigations in the state where his company's headquarters are located. “Elon, there are plenty of apartments in Rostov. So keep that in mind, just in case,” the propagandist told Musk. He added that Russia needs people with global ambitions. The billionaire would certainly have plenty of room to pursue them there.

In one day, two politicians - Bolsonaro in Brazil and Vucic in Serbia - with ties to Trump and his family have lost surprise elections, thanks to high turnout. The rise of the international far-right is not inevitable.

Unless turnout rates end up quite a bit higher on these questions, people will debate how much of a mandate was conferred on the provincial government on questions 1-9. eg 600,000 votes = 19% of 3.1 Million eligible voters
L’Alberta a voté OUI à huit des neuf autres questions. La démarche albertaine a toujours été autonomiste, jamais indépendantiste.

For those complaining that CAF isn't giving specific info about exactly what caused the explosion @ Wainwright, you might consider the possibility that everyone who knows exactly what happened are dead or too hurt to explain it.

I spent time at CFB Wainwright back in 2012, working on an army exercise. I waw that military training is inherently dangerous. Wainwright is a training base. This tragedy reminds us that serving Canada comes with a price and we should all be thankful to those who serve.

Odd that a story like this should appear only in foreign media. I've been waiting for Canadian MSM to explore how CF veterans feel about the contempt in which they are held by the Trump admin. Good to see someone's done the work. theguardian.com/us-news/2026…

The $72b Emera-Canadian Utilities deal, is by FAR the largest such deal in Cdn history. Emera's a former NS crown asset, sold off in 1992. Taxpayers in NS don't get dividends, more's the pity. Company still trying to unscramble a massive cyber attack from 2025.

This is one of the least mind boggling and most easily believable charts of the last two years. The US government is deliberately repelling visitors, starting with the Canadians.
Visitors to the US are on track to drop by almost two million year-on-year. “We’re the only major country in the world losing visitation,” the head of the US Travel Association said. “It’s mind-boggling.” semafor.com/article/09/29/20…

Mark Carney has denounced this act of racist mob intimidation. No word yet from @PierrePoilievre, though. How very odd. Total head-scratcher. I mean, he's pretty trigger-happy when it comes to excoriating pro-Palestinian demonstrators. Priorities. cbc.ca/news/canada/british-c…

Tr*mp is right about oil prices coming down after the U.S. midterms. He knows the Dems are going to take Congress and tie him to the swivel chair of his Bribe Jet with duct tape, bring in the adults and sort something out. But many messy weeks are still ahead.
