McCaffrey is everything Dort claims to like. Decorated for valor as a tactical level leader, and then on the operational level commanded a division in decisive action. 2 DSCs, 2 Silver Stars, 3 Purple Hearts. An infantryman with a CIB. Having interacted with him, I can add he is someone deeply invested in the future of our force who has shaped it more than Dort ever will. It is an utterly embarrassing reaction from @infantrydort but sadly not surprising.
