Merzlikins says Tom Wilson tried to slew foot him in the crease on the first shift of the game. Wilson also took a slash at Merzlikins’ glove after a save that sparked a dustup in regulation.
In OT, he said Wilson punched him first in the net, while on the goalie stick.
