I built my first audio plugin while exploring AI-generated music and sound.
Hella! Pads uses @rive_app components for its animated pads, meters, faders and knobs inside a @JUCElibrary plugin. Type a prompt, generate a sample with @StabilityAI.
Out now → hellaplugins.com
Built ASCII Studio over the weekend because why not?The UI, drawing tools, layers, and document model are all made using @rive_app.
Here's a blooming glass flower made with @rive_app. The refraction, frost, and shifting colors are all drawn in Luau. No custom WGSL shaders.
Remix here: rive.app/community/files/290…
The glass flower is now on @rive_app's Marketplace if you want to remix it. Includes the Luau source, tuning controls, and a short customization guide. rive.app/community/files/290…

13 years ago I built KBS Golf Shafts' first app for designing custom clubs, layering flat images to build each one. Over the weekend I reimagined it in 3D using @rive_app.
Fully responsive using Rive Layouts. Try it yourself: kbs.lab.davesebek.com
I love making little labs where I can explore things with sight and sound.
Here’s an interactive periodic table I built in @rive_app just by telling AI what I wanted.
I didn’t hand-write any code or open the editor while building it. But what came out is a real Rive project. Here it is in the editor.
Generate unique music, instrument, and sfx samples using prompts and the awesome Stable Audio 3 cloud models. Trim then play with your favorite midi controller from the plugin or drag the samples into your DAW.
I took full advantage of what Rive has to offer including Components, Artboards, State Machines, Data Binding, View Models, Data Converters, Keyframe Animation, Vector Graphics, Gradients, Vector Feathering, Trim Paths, Clipping, Images, Blend Modes, and Custom Fonts.
I have an article that dives into the details → davesebek.com/writing/buildi…
I couldn't resist trying to build a game for @rive_app's Halloween Challenge, so here's Gourd to Death 🎃🪦
A 3D pumpkin fighting game inside Rive. The whole thing is a single .riv file. Volume up, controllers out 🎮 → gourdtodeathgame.com

To tune the fights I built my own Move Lab inside Rive: scrub a clip, set the hit timing, assign sounds, save. Actually, I built it twice. The first version wasn't great, so I made a second. It def made the process faster than it would have been.
I have an in-depth article about the process and challenges if you're interested → davesebek.com/writing/buildi…
I'll definitely be building more in Rive. Feedback is welcome!
