Not surprised the DSA’s platform calls for dismantling our military; socialists never let facts get in the way of their ideology. But I’m worried that Democrats rank “Patriotism” dead last as a national value. Shows an astounding ignorance of the rest of the world.
New Gallup poll asks "which values the country most needs today?"
Out of a list of 12 values, Republicans put "patriotism" #1, for Dems it ranks dead last - by a lot.
Dems say "equality" is most needed, Republicans rank it 11th out of 12.

🇧🇷 ELECTION DAY IN BRAZIL
🚨 LAST MINUTE JUDICIAL RULINGS CREATE CHAOS AND UNCERTAINTY AFTER POLL CLOSINGS
⚠️ Despite Supreme Court ruling in favor of a request by Lula’s campaign to extend voting hours nationwide minutes after the closing of all polling places, the Superior Election Court just started releasing the results for a few minutes before pausing it.

If anyone believes this nonsense, here are the facts he is counting on you not knowing.
The deal did not end Iran's nuclear program. It rented a pause. Iran kept its centrifuges, kept Fordow buried in a mountain, kept enriching to 3.67%, and the key restrictions came with expiration dates. The sunset clauses began lifting in 2025. Obama's own answer at the time was that breakout time "would have shrunk almost down to zero" as the deal expired. His deal scheduled the problem for his successors.
The regime lied its way into the deal. The JCPOA was premised on Iran coming clean about past weapons work. In 2018 Israel pulled Iran's own nuclear archive out of a Tehran warehouse: tens of thousands of documents on the Amad Project, a crash program to build nuclear weapons, preserved and hidden while Iran certified it had no such program. The IAEA later found uranium traces at undeclared sites Iran never explained.
The deal paid for terror. Sanctions relief unfroze roughly $100 billion and the US delivered $1.7 billion in cash. That money flowed to the IRGC, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. Diplomacy with a regime at war with you is financing, not peace.
And the result? By 2025 Iran was enriching to 60%, a short technical step from weapons grade, with enough material for multiple bombs and the IAEA declaring it in violation of its obligations. That is what required military force this year. Iran marched to the threshold under the deal's cover and after it.
"I didn't have to fire a missile" is true. He handed the regime money, legitimacy, and a timetable, and left the missiles to be fired a decade later by someone else. Appeasing a dictatorship doesn't buy peace. It buys the dictatorship time.

Remember in 2013 when he said families would get good healthcare for less than the cost of their cable bills and then the cost of insurance skyrocketed? That was awesome.

Disgraceful
Pointless
And what will happen?
Nothing
Six police surround myself and my wife and arrest us at home. This is from the police bodycam footage. We’re currently taking action against Bedfordshire police for this outrageous arrest. Myself and my wife were clearly soft targets, not exactly hardened criminals but they handcuffed both anyway …all charges dropped after a couple of months with no apology or explanation. The children were terrorised and they’ll never trust the police again.
Who’s to blame?
A combination of Marx, Mohamed, and Dr Spock.
'Europe looks like one MASSIVE riot... Communists calling for REVOLUTION. Riot police battling masked protesters. Cities in CHAOS.'

In a normal state she’d be a shoe-in. But Minnesota has become so terribly corrupt, particularly that insane rule that allows 1 voter with ID to vouch for 8 without. They will no doubt employ such tactics on Election Day .
David Friedberg reveals France's public spending is 57% of GDP: greater than that of communist countries
"This chart is a measure of public spending as a percent of GDP; Rand Group Research published it. And you can see the comparison of France's public spending as a percent of GDP, to the peak public spending as a percent of GDP of major communist nations, Soviet Union during, communist Romania, Venezuela under Chavez, and then communist China."
"It certainly been a socialist state, right? That's my point. I think this is such a precious lesson for the West to look at. We all think that there's some political problem with Macron or whoever it was."
"The more the government spends, the worse the conditions get for its people, not the opposite. And then the people riot and revolt and say that the government's not spending enough and the government needs to be doing more."
"Take a guess where the US is today. Federal government spending is $7.4 trillion, state and local government spending is $4.6 trillion. You add those two together, it's $12 trillion out of a $33 trillion GDP. US public spending is roughly 36% of GDP. France today is the same as the US, it's about 120% debt to GDP."
"France today is operating its national government spending deficit is 5.4% of GDP. The US is actually 6.2% of GDP. France is I think probably the first to go because they're only growing their economy at half a percent while the US is growing 2.3%."
"So we're still kind of hanging on because we have some degree of economic growth that's allowing us to kind of hold things together."
"But I would argue that we are facing the same sort of fiscal cliff that leads to this extraordinary social unrest as France, all the economic measures are aligned, we're at the same rate, we're at the same set of problems."

The capital of fashion, elegance, and everything the world once associated with Italian style.
Look at it now.
A Carabinieri car turned into a playground for masked thugs, and people jumping on police vehicles like it’s a party.
This isn’t a “protest.” This is an invasion of our streets by people who have zero respect for our laws, our police, or our country.
As an Italian, this breaks my heart. We didn’t grow up with this. Our grandparents didn’t build these cities so that barbarians could tear them apart.
These aren’t students. Students don’t destroy police cars. They come from places where this behavior is normal, and our leaders keep letting them in and then act shocked when our cities burn.
Enough. We want our country back.

From energy analyst Phil Flynn:
“It looks like the United States is going to go on offense and defense with reports that the US is getting ready to hit Iran hard and by using the Defense Production Act to increase American refining capacity which is desperately needed to produce more diesel and more gasoline. The order would allow the White House to use taxpayer money to support oil and gas projects and fast track any projects including pipelines in refineries that can move us forward. Of course, this move really is undoing the nonsensical over regulation that we have seen in the past with all the green political agendas.”thehill.com/homenews/adminis…
