Hereâs where I think Michigan should go from here:
Let Kyle Whittingham finish the season. Heâs a good man and has built an incredible career, but this job is simply too big for where he is in his career. Michigan isnât a small-market rebuildâitâs one of the premier jobs in all of sports, and this program needs someone with the energy, recruiting chops, and vision to build a national championship contender.
The discipline and turnovers are symptoms of a bigger issue. I actually think thereâs a lot of talent on this roster. I just donât think the current coaching dynamic is maximizing it.
Bryce Underwood deserves the opportunity to play in an environment built around his development. If that means transferring to a program with an elite offensive mindâLSU, Oregon, or somewhere similarâŠIâd understand it.
For Michigan, Iâd be looking hard at a coach in his mid-to-late 30s: someone we can invest in, grow with, and build around for the next decade. An elite recruiter. An offensive innovator. Someone who understands the NIL era and can turn Michiganâs resources into a sustained national championship program.
Michigan doesnât need a short-term fix. It needs to identify the next great coach and build the entire program around him.

Jyaire Hill was a remarkably immature player early in his career. It felt like he was cleaning up those dumb mistakes. But that personal foul there was a game changer. Completely inexplicable.

#Clockgate has officially been solved
This video is evidence that the Hail Mary attempt #1 did not come anywhere near exceeding 9 whole seconds.
Because of this fact, the NCAAâs âone second exceptionâ rule is factored in.
Absolute fact: Michigan deserved one final play.

Michigan's play that "shouldn't have had time added back" took less than 9 seconds to run -- from snap until the defender touched the ball. The officials were right to put time back on the clock.
Watch it with a basketball-style countdown:

My sources confirm reporting by @DanWetzel, @Balas_Wolverine, and others: Utah's recently resigned coach Kyle Whittingam and UM are talking contract, though my sources add: "Not finalized yet." Short of a last-minute bump, however, an announcement is likely.
Story for ESPN: Utah coach Kyle Whittingham has emerged as the focus of the Michigan coaching search, sources told @PeteThamel and me.

Statement from Michigan confirms Sherrone Moore has been fired:
U-M head football coach Sherrone Moore has been terminated, with cause, effective immediately. Following a University investigation, credible evidence was found that Coach Moore engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. This conduct constitutes a clear violation of University policy, and U-M maintains zero tolerance for such behavior.
Biff Poggi has been appointed head football coach in an interim capacity, effective immediately.

The is a complete lack of awareness by the officials. The kid falls flat on his face after taking a late hit directly to the head.

Not a great first half but remember not only does Michigan get the ball to start the 2nd half, we also get back Jaishawn Barham.
Lot of football left. Go Blue.
