It's been nearly 113 years since history was made in Tampa with the world’s first scheduled commercial airline flight, American innovators @BETA_aircraft and @jobyaviation are bringing that historic route into the future with electric aircraft. Today also marks the first time both companies completed a demonstration together. I traded my Commissioner hat for a witch’s hat as Elphaba, while my wonderful Chief of Staff, Krista, brought some sparkle to the office as Glinda the Good Witch. The rest of Team Trusty joined in the fun, helping us bring a little bit of Oz to the FCC!
I’m fortunate to work alongside such a talented, dedicated, and fun team. While our days are usually filled with communications policy, it’s wonderful to take a little time to celebrate the people who make our work so rewarding.
