Fourth and 4 on the 50, Zac Taylor opts to punt.
Huge play by Kyle Hamilton anticipated the run up the middle on third and 1.
ESPN Analytics puts it as +2.0% win probability to go for it. Taylor has historically leaned conservative, especially early in games as teams feel it out. This would qualify as another instance.

In an article written exclusively for the Deseret News, @BYU President C. Shane Reese recounts an act of kindness that the @NDFootball coach, Marcus Freeman, offered to a BYU player during the match up last weekend — and what it taught him about living our values.

Yaxel Lendeborg said he “lost all respect” for Luka Doncic after facing him tonight because he said Doncic was “complaining the entire game.”
On his interaction with Doncic: “I told him he sucks. He can’t score on me.”

Remember that two week period where you couldn’t jump into a defender to draw a foul on a jumper? Good times.

Ohio has a nearly $1 trillion economy. Three nonstop flights a week to Frankfurt probably shouldn’t be quite so surprising. Plenty of business happens between the coasts ...
I'd call this the most surprising route announcement of the year.
@Lufthansa just announced new nonstop flights between Frankfurt and... Columbus, Ohio.
It'll operate 3x weekly on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
Lufthansa will receive subsidies for the route, but I can't tell how much $ they're getting.
My take: this route will be great for award space. Nothing like the NYC-CMH-FRA routing.
On Notre Dame’s final drive, there were multiple occasions where the clock ran longer than it was supposed to:
• Out of bounds at 0:27, clock goes to 0:26
• Out of bounds at 0:17, clock goes to 0:15
BYU’s clock operator needs to be investigated.

While we’re on the subject of missed calls…
This before CJ Carr’s spike-fumble was delay of game and a pretty blatant example at that.
(Obviously, if Notre Dame doesn’t bungle the ensuing spike attempt it doesn’t matter)

Wild that that happened in favor of the home team both times this year with refs from the home team’s conference. Probably a coincidence.
Big 12 admits clock error on final play of Notre Dame-BYU game. Should have been 1 second left, allowing Notre Dame to run another play

This was actually more egregious. This is a game administration error. DPI is a judgement call. I felt they missed the flag.
How this wasn’t reviewed on the final play is beyond comprehension. This crew should be downgraded and reprimanded for this. 1 second left clearly

The Florida St offensive holding call was not a foul.
The contact by the BYU defender was defensive pass interference.
